“Wooow what an amazing 3 nights”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

I recently stayed three night with my girlfriend as a get away, on arrival Sarah and Paul where very pleasent and welcoming, our room was well decorated with a really hot power shower, the food was outstanding, with really cheerful staff, it was a shame that we had to leave but I'm hoping one day I can return to such an amazing place,
Thankyou Sarah and Paul for the experience you have gave us both

Had been told by several people that this was a great place for food so five of us went to see if it rated such high praise and pleased to say it certainly does. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was of a high standard and must mention the chips, quite magnificent. We will be back!

We had a one night stay here while visiting family locally. This is a very professionally run establishment by the proprietors who work tirelessly to make sure their guests are happy. Our room was clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the newly opened central garden and the excellent restaurant in which we enjoyed dinner and breakfast (deserves a review of its own). The bar, frequented by guests and locals, has a good atmosphere. I can thoroughly recommend The Five Dials Inn; you can be sure of a warm welcome from Sarah and Paul.

My new boss drove me to this hotel. In a village just of the main bypass. Was greeted by the owner. Showed me the room and gave me a key for the front door and room. The room was clean and of a good standard. Power shower and shower enclosure. Free wifi in the room that picked up my ipad easily. Little bonus nice little chocolate hob nobs in a glass jar. Usual breakfast time is 8-9 but had to be at office early and had no problems with opening up early. The real surprise was when I came home that night. It was busy with locals and guests using the bar and restaurant. The food quality and prices in my opinion was very high. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again. I asked to try a cider(when In Rome). A local told me Barrowhill(don't quote me). A small friendly and a place of excellent food. They are also about 16-20 miles away from the Beach.

Room Tip: If going to parts of Somerset many of the restaurants are not open on the Monday.

Only stayed over night on our way to the Exmoor area.

Had a meal and the food was excellent with a specials board. Bar has a good selection of wines and also has some decent ales. Breakfast has the normal fair (Full English with cereals etc), which was also very good.

Bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and the power shower is always a bonus!

The B&B also has WiFi which had a decent single in the rooms and bar area.

Great stay. Paul and Sarah very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Room was well decorated and cleaned to avery high standard. Superb new garden opened in anticipation of summer (oh well .... never mind!) Didn't eat there but cocked breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Small and important things considered and acted upon: labour of love very evident.

I stayed at the Five Dials for three weeks and tried three different rooms. They were very well decorated and spotlessly clean every day. The food is very good and all the staff are friendly. Paul and Sarah are excellent hosts. If I ever need to stay in the area again I won't hesitate to come back.
