Thanks Chris and Clare for a fab mini break.
We walked the south west coastal path from Minehead to Woolacombe over Easter and stayed for 2 nights at the beginning and spent our last night in Porlock before heading home.
Lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Perfectly situated, The Cottage provided a relaxing retreat in a lovely village with all amenities. Spotless and cosy. We had the room with the bath - the toiletries were a nice touch. Extremely comfortable bed and clean fluffy white towels. Guest lounge was lovely but we didn't need it as the room was so spacious with a settee and table. Good Wi-fi connection.
Food delicious. Amazing scrambled eggs and great choice.
Ideal for walkers and close to south west coastal path. Compared to other B&B's during our stay, this was by far the best and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.
