“Wonderful B&B”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

I have just experienced all that a good B&B should offer. Wonderful hospitality, spotless characterful rooms and a home-cooked breakfast to shame what the big hotels offer. Janet and Nigel are brilliant hosts, treating their guests as friends where nothing is too much trouble. Max the dog adds a nice touch of extra character as well. The location is perfect as well in the picture postcard village of Porlock. Highly recommended.

Stayed here in family room for one night on a short break, Nigel and Janet couldn't be more helpful, not to mention magnificent at cooking breakfast which we ate in their lovely garden. Great position in heart of picture postcard village, room spacious and clean, when I'd asked if we could bring the dog, there was even bowls, towels and a mat laid out for him in our room. Dogs welcome in most pubs in area, lovely family break.

We stayed for four nights and did not want to leave. Nigel and Janet were the most wonderful hosts you could ever ask for, such lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very nice and very clean. The breakfasts were out of this world. One of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed at. Look forward to staying again soon!

Stayed here for one night while alking the South West Coast Path. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast with good service. Made to feel very welcome. Would recommend to anyone doing the South West Coast Path. 16th century cottage with all mod cons but mind your head on the low door heads!
