We went for a relaxing weekend knowing that a terrible storm was forecast. We were not disappointed. Myrtle Cottage was exactly as advertised, which has not always been our experience of B and Bs. It was quaint, spotlessly clean, very welcoming and the breakfasts were amazing! Sausages and bacon to die for (and we are not big breakfast eaters) but these kept us going until dinnertime. Janet and Nigel are excellent hosts. They were able to recommend places to visit and could even provide maps and clear guidance of how to get there, as well as recommending good places to eat of an evening. Millers and the Ship were both excellent. We will definitely be going back to do the walks that the weather ruined and to stay again in such a great place run by great people.
