A Mini, a Pole and a German - landed in the summer 2012 in this heavenly place by chance and the decision to depart was a hard one. We were directed to this marvellous place by a friend of the host Caroline, some miles away who was booked up - how lucky were we (!) to get here.
It all started with Caroline, the host and heart of the house, to wait in the pouring rain on the road to avoid us missing the house and to give us directions into the drive when arriving in a deep dark night during a rocking horrifiying downpour. There's a light. And in this manner it continued.
WE FELT PAMPERED.
WE FELT GOOD.
This is a heavenly place, the setting is staggering, the views are just unbelievable, the coastline like from a film, the house beautifully done, everything looks (and feels) as English as it can get (from the perspective of inhabitants of the continent). There is no way to mention all the treats we received, but that somebody lit us the fireplace in the middle of summer just because there was rain outside and this would finally fulfil the image we carry of an English paradise - this was like in a fairy-tale.
