If you are anywhere near the beacon it is worth a stroll up a well defined path for
about 1/4 mile . Wonderful rolling hills and fine views across the Bristol channel

Various routes lead to the summit which may be accessed via a gentle stroll. Wild ponies and if you are lucky, red deer may be seen on the surrounding moorland.

Marvellous views of Exmoor - on a clear day - well worth the effort - suggest contact local walking group, the Exmoor Ramblers to join them on a group walk - very friendly and happy to oblige.

I have walked up here on a couple of occasions. the walk is not too arduous, the paths are well defined and a bit rocky. The views from the top are wonderful, you can see for miles in 360 degrees. we were lucky enough to see some ponies as well.
