We stayed just the one night for my birthday, but what a night! The farm is easy enough to find, and the narrow single track roads let you know you are way off the beaten track. We were welcomed with tea and cake in one of the two reception rooms then shown our bedroom, which was tastefully decorated with a bed you can just sink into with a large luxurious on-suite with double walk in power shower and large bath. The farm does evening meals featuring local produce, and as vegetarians we were more than a little surprised to be offered a choice of main courses (something that many restaurants don't even do). All of the food was very good, but the highlight was the desert, a delicious home made raspberry pavlova. We were surprised to find there was then a cheese course, featuring somerset brie, cave aged cheddar and an fine stilton. The wine list was very reasonably priced from which we had a very fine Rioja. The grounds are stunning, we immaculately kept lawns (for cockett) various places to sit and enjoy the view as well as a small outdoor heated swimming pool. There are foot paths to the wider area including access to the nearby Coleridge way.
We will most certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

One of the most tranquil places that I have ever stayed, beautiful location, stunning views and calming atmosphere. Welcomed with tea and cake, could you ask for anything more?! Large comfortable rooms, fantastic gardens and attentive service. And the local pub is in walking distance! Definitely return.

Stayed for a weekend recently and Diana was very friendly, the food was good and room elegantly furnished with spotless en-suite. We would agree with a previous reviewer that the sitting room etc are a bit tired but the dining room has just be decorated and we suspect the sitting room will be next. We paid £130 for dinner b&b, although out of season, but prices seem to be the same all year round, and considerably more than similar farms where we have stayed in nearby North Devon. Exmoor and the Quantocks seem to be more expensive, e.g a quality hotel in Barnstaple was charging £88 for the dinner b&b and use of spa and leisure facilities that same weekend but we had seen this farm advertised several times over the years and wanted to try it.

Perhaps not the easiest of places to find but well worth the effort. Located in the glorious North Somerset countryside, this is a beautifully restored farmhouse with comfortable, elegantly furnished rooms and well appointed bathrooms. The owners were friendly and charming and made me feel intantly at home. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and the food excellent. I will certainly return and can recommend it unconditionally.

We stayed here for our mums 80th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was great and it suited all our needs, especially as there was a wide range of ages. The men did the clay pigeon shooting which is highly recommended and the women had some excellent beauty treatments. We opted for the catering on the Saturday which was fabulous, better than eating out! Our hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, can't wait to return.

We stayed here for a night at the wood advent farm. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Diane with a cuppa and cake, which we had out in the sunshine overlooking the lovely garden.

The house is absolutely stunning with lovely high ceilings and beautiful rooms to sit and relax. Our rooms were incredible, really spacious and spotlessly clean with excellent views over the countryside.

Breakfast was delicious, there was a selection of Fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereal as well as the full English which had really good quality produce especially the sausages and bacon

Diane really makes you feel at home and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It's a lovely place to come for a relaxing break and take in the beautiful countryside.

I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Following my sister's wedding just after Xmas, our family chose to celebrate the marriage at this wonderful venue. It was an absolute dream come true.

Right from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home by the owners, welcoming us into their exceptionally luxurious and cosy retreat where the fires were burning and candles lit.

Sitting down to a 3-course meal following snacks, the food was truly fantastic and plentiful. Especially those home made desserts!

Thanks again for a lovely day.
