We had a very good fish supper from here. Its also a great idea that you are allowed to sit in Peebles Bar next door where you can have a drink with your meal. This saves you from standing out in the main street.

We called in to Harbour Fish Bar on recommendation from Pebbles Tavern. The four of us all opted for cod and chips. The fish was cooked to order and was great with whispy light bater covering perfectly cooked fish which tasted just perfect. We loved it large fish with nice chips and at a very reasonable price. Giv it a try even if you don't call in/ at Pebbles

Took a break at the habourside, with my wife, from a great day on the West Somerset Steam Railway, which I would thoughly recommend and really fancied some fish&chips. Therefore sent the missuses off to seek some out while I choosed a pleasant spot to take in the views of Watchet harbour. She returned very shortly afterwards upset at the service provided-the woman serving her was curt and rude-and told me not to get to excited at the thought of tucking in!!She was not kidding!!On opening the greased soaked paper I found a mass of solid brown coloured wet , luke warm chips and a large piece of fish covered in a cardboard type batter. Both meals were inedible and left a pool off grease on our laps. Therefore disposed them quickly in the nearest bin,as feeding the seagulls may have caused further devastation as they plummetted to the ground gagging on a mass of chips and soggy batter. It seems that the owner or employee no longer cares what they serve to the general public and rely on the position near to the harbour,so please look eslewhere if you want to indulge in that wonderfull British fare of fish and chips.

We have used the Harbour Fish Bar many times and always enjoyed the lovely fish and chips which are always perfectly cooked. The portions are very generous and if you want the best of both worlds, you are allowed to take your food and eat it in the excellent Pebbles Bar next door !!!
