Wow ! What a great place, comfortable, friendly, great food, great staff and a feeling of home from home. Thank you for a very warm reception and value for money. Stayed for 3 nights on the 16th to the 19th of March and felt like i had had a good relaxing break. Thanks so much. Linda & Ken 16th to 19th March.

Stayed one night in what appeared to be an annexe, we had a good sized room that was clean, tidy, modern and well equipped, the bathroom was a good size with a large shower cubicle but no bath. Dinner was pub grub at its best, service was fast and friendly. In fact all the staff encountered were very good. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Plenty of parking and a large field full of activities to keep children amused.

We only stayed for one night at the Hunter's Lodge, but were very pleased with the accomodation and the welcome we received and would be happy to stay there again.
The location is very convenient, and although near a main road the traffic noise was not too intrusive.

Room Tip: We booked late and, although we were not disabled, were given the disabled room which includes a wet...

Stayed here for one night on a business trip as it is very convenient for the A303. Plenty of parking, fast check-in at the bar in the pub with a very friendly chap and then were very pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. Comfy bed, big screen flat TV, ample supplies of tea and coffee and a nice bathroom. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. In the evening we went in to the pub for dinner and the menu had plenty to choose from. Food was hot and tasty, and the staff were friendly. After a great night's sleep we went in for breakfast as it opened at 7.30, and the waitress Amanda was there ready for us. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and as we enjoyed our coffee we discussed what a real gem this inn is. It is fantastic value for money, and if we go down to Somerset again we will definitely stay here again. Only one tiny criticism, the bar and restaurant obviously hadn't been cleaned that morning. There was a dirty serviette under our table and a few chips scattered here and there, but it was early.

We have stayed in lots of hotels, but have to say for the price it's excellent, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, the beds, I have to say are the most comfortable beds with slept in away from home. It has a lovely play area for kids with a patio seating area for you to chill out with a drink and watch them. We woke up to the sound of little lambs running around the field , it was lovely looking out of our French doors to see these and the goats. The breakfast was a mixture of buffet and full english it was extremely well presented and enjoyable we would definitely recommend and go back again. Such a brilliant price

Stopped here last week as a little getaway for my wife and myself. It makes an ideal base for Longleat, Stonehenge and all the other local attractions.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, lots of space. Also free WiFi with good signal.
We ate there both nights, the food was good and the
service was great. The barman, Scott, was very helpful meaning we never had to leave our table all night.
The pub has a huge garden with outside bar area and play equipment for the kids. As their carvery is locally renowned it would make an ideal Sunday afternoon out.
Would we stop there again? Definitely. I'm fact we're looking to book rooms for a christening in Yeovil later this year

Stayed overnight on route to Cornwall. Booked a room last minute at a very reasonable price. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. The evening bar meal was very good, as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend the Inn for value and service.
