We were spending a couple of nights in Porlock Weir with no restaurant availability on a Monday, so we were delighted to discover this lovely, friendly and customer-focused pub to enjoy a great evening meal. How good to see that much of what is offered is locally-sourced, with details of local suppliers given. Despite being busy, and being a last minute booking, we were very well received and enjoyed some great food. In particular the venison steak and the lamb rump that we chose for our main courses were much enjoyed. It was good to see how busy the place was and how well that level of demand was met. Top marks!
