Came here the end of September, they had already started setting up for Halloween. Was lovely to see all the park decorated. Mostly spent the day in CBeebies land as that’s where my son enjoys the rides and activities. We did manage to get on the runaway mine train. And visited sea life while by there. I expected the sea life to be a little bigger than what it was but it was something different away from the rides

Dear Luvtravel201406

5* review! Thank you so much - we really appreciate hearing from our guests and its always great to hear such kind comments about CBeebies Land. It's such a fantastic place for the little ones with all the great rides and shows, we love it!

We like to think that Sea life maybe small but it's perfectly formed but glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Hopefully we will see you again soon for more fun days out.

Kind regards
Justine L

We had a good day despite the awful rain. The queues wee quite long but that is normal. It is nicely laid out surrounded by trees, beautiful gardens etc. You get a good view from the gondola.

Nemesis opened late which was annoying. It was only open a few hours. I can’t stand the VR they have added to Air. Ridiculous! Wicker man is extremely good. Fast and great fun. It’s a pity it has taken so long to have such a brilliant rollercoaster at this park.

Car parking is expensive- should be free. My friend had applied on lane for an access pass but wasn’t sure if it had been accepted or not. So she went to the desk dealing with this and the queue was out into the park and was barely moving. There was nowhere she could sit down while waiting. In the end she gave up waiting after about 45 minutes.

Hello Hevsy

We really appreciate your review and for taking the time to tell us about your experience.
I will make sure your kind comments about the historic grounds are shared with the relevant team - they work so hard to maintain the beautiful surroundings you mentioned.

With regards to the rides we certainly do our best to ensure all of our rides open on time so I can only apologise that Nemesis was late - I hope she was worth the wait!
We will also take note of your feedback about Galactica and Wicker Man - we think Wicker Man is a awesome addition to our coaster line-up.
With regards to the Ride Access Pass - if your friend visits again she can pre-register and if accepted she will receive a unique reference number otherwise she can collect it from Admissions or the Box office so I do hope that helps for next time.

I do hope overall you had a great day out and we will see you again at the Resort in 2019.

Thanks again
Justine L

Again another lovely day out, spoilt slightly by the wait times for rides but I know that can’t be helped - a fast pass system would be good especially when we have a few who ride solo and would be nice to just slit the rides into the day rather than the whole left waiting around unsure of when they will come off.
Lots of places to get food and drink and lots to do whilst there. Good if you have an offer voucher - can’t imagine paying full price as an individual who doesn’t do big rides!

Dear ShropshirePassport

Thank you for leaving us a great review, we really appreciate hearing from our guests as it's so important to know how we're doing.
Great to read you had a lovely day out and had lots to do. Its worth mentioning that we do offer Fastrack on many of our rides which significantly reduce waiting times plus we have the most up to date queue times on our app so you can keep an eye on that - hopefully good to know for next time!

We have a huge range of rides and attractions, not all big coasters so hopefully you were able to enjoy attractions like our Sea Life aquarium, grade listed gardens and house as well as shows and family fun rides such as Congo River Rapids, Duel - the Haunted House Strikes Back and Battle Galleons.

Thanks again for your review and we hope we can welcome you back in 2019.

Kind regards
Justine L

An awesome place which I absolutely love! The new roller coaster, wicker man, is amazing among my other favourites such as Nemesis and T13teen. The towers are so beautiful aswell. Well worth the visit bor both children and thrill seekers alike!!

Hello MichaelStephen97

We couldn't have said it better ourselves! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this great 5*review we really appreciate and will make sure your kind comments are shared with our teams.

Wicker Man is absolutely one of our favourites although it's pretty hard to choose from all the world class rides and attractions we have on offer! Glad you liked our amazing towers too, they are such an important part of who we are so it's always great to hear that guests enjoy them too.

Cant wait to welcome you back soon for another 5* day out.

Fantastic fun at Alton Towers, yes it is expensive, but use some Tesco vouchers or similar to get a great value day out.
