Great little B&B located just a few minutes drive from Alton Towers. We stayed for one night mid-week and had a lovely stay. The B&B has lots of wooden beams which gives a great character to the cottage. The room was a good size, the shower was nice and the breakfast was great. I would have liked a hairdryer in the room, but I'm sure that Margaret would have sorted this for me if I'd asked as she was very welcoming.

It is located just a couple of doors down from the Royal Oak, which serves great food until 9pm, which was perfect for us as we got stuck on the M6 and so were keen to head out for dinner.

Great value B&B that I would definitely recommend before or after a trip to Alton Towers.

We stayed for one night following a busy day at Alton Towers. The location is perfect, very close to the theme park in a pretty village area with easy parking. Margaret was warm and welcoming and her B&B has a lovely feel of homeliness. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfy. Her breakfast was fantastic in the morning at a time you can pre-request. Great value for money and we would highly recommend.

We (my wife and 7 year old) stayed at The Wisteria Cottage 1 night, 25th May 2014, in the Family room. This is situated on the ground floor directly from the hall/ breakfast area. Very good access straight from the front door. The room has a double bed, a bunk bed, and an optional fold away bed stored in the corner. Bathroom is en suite, located down a few steps. Great facilities, and very clean. Full English Breakfast was more than adequate start to the day. Hosts were lovely, and not overbearing in any way, leaving us to relax. Highly recommended, and will be returning.

Room tip: Family room is excellent size, perfect for 4.

Stayed as a family of 4 2 adults / 2 children, lovely 1600 cottage, hosts friendly and welcoming. Recommended great local for evening meal and their advice did not disappoint us. Full breakfast was offered and served promptly at the time agreed more than set us up of the day.
