Another excellent meal at The Old Vicarage. Nice to sit in the Lounge and have a chat with Pascal before a very tasty meal. The restaurant was not busy and so the service was first class. Looking forward to our next visit.

We were stopping in the area for two nights and happened on the old Vicarage by chance. Pascal was so welcoming and made us feel like old friends. The food was divine and all the staff attentive and helpful.Would love to return one day

Visited on a lunch time, me going for the express, my partner mixing things up. She had a mozzarella salad to start, a lovely dressed plate with heritage tomatoes distinctly lacking any mozzarella which was rectified with 3 pearls of cheese. We both had the chicken with macaroni cheese and red wine jus as it sounded intriguing, again good presentation and good cooking, but no jus to be seen. Having bought this to the attention of the waitress we received a gravy boat full of jus but had only a morsel of main left. I drank the boat of jus down like a jug of bovril, it was lovely but should have been on the plate. The usual good cooking and attentive unfussy service but a lack of attention to detail at the pass on a quiet lunch service.

We booked our mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary celebration here. It was excellent. The staff were attentive and accomodating. The menu was extensive and the food appealing and tasty. We all enjoyed it and would definately come back again. Thank you Pascal and team xxx

We have been visiting Pascal's for many years now and our most recent visit 'a last minute end of holiday treat' was thursday 29th May. During the many years we have dined as a couple, with friends, at christmas time, attended cookery demonstrations and both 'french rustic' and 'St Georges evenings',had birthday celebrations and held our daughter's marriage and reception there in 2007 and on every occasion have experienced excellent food, superb service from all the staff and a brilliant atmosphere. Nothing has been too much trouble, food quality and choice of menu have always been and still are first class. we were most certainly not disappointed with any aspect of this restaurant at any of our visits including last week. I would like to take this opportunity to compliment Pascal and Karen on working so hard to provide such a lovely place to eat and celebrate, and their unstinting attention to detail and front of house presentation goes well beyond what many other restaurants offer. We will certainly be returning again in the very near future to enjoy the friendly, professional service of a super eating establishment.
