1st visit impressed with venue and with staff all in authentic costumes!
The food was very good we all really enjoyed it
nice poppadoms and dips on the table whilst we waited
Lovely selection on the menu including vegetarian options
the presentation was lovely too!
The staff worked so hard and the place was full being a Friday night!
However the waiting was not good!
after 2 an a half hours we had only had our starter!
We did not really mind as such four ladies out for the evening with plenty to talk about!
but it would have been different if we had been taking people there to eat as a family treat for
example! we would have felt uncomfortable waiting so long for the food.
I do not want to be unfair in any way to the venue and would like to try it again, it may have been that staff were off or they were extra busy and the long waiting time was not the norm?
We were almost the last to leave certainly in our part of the restaurant we had coffee but did not ask for sweets. It was almost midnight when we arrived home the table was booked for 7.30 pm we had two courses and we live about 14 miles away! work it out for yourself!
it would have been 10 out of 10
