Stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend; as with many reviews that have been written I can concur that the room was spotlessly clean, nice and large, and of a very good standard. The bed was incredibly compfy, but the room was very hot however that's not the hotel's fault (they can't control weather temperature) and there were only two drawbacks to our stay - firstly the noise of the traffic which was 24hrs a day, and made it difficult to sleep with the need to have the windows open in such heat. Secondly just be aware when booking that there aren't a lot of amenities within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel does have a restaurant and bar, but I found the bar food over-priced for it's standard and quality so I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately there's very little else to chose from other than a Cantonese restaurant, a burger/kebab shop a little further on, and a chinese takeaway which my husband ordered from and said wasn't too bad. The noise and lack of local amenities is made up for by the high quality of the room and the hotel staff who I cannot speak more highly of - incredibly polite, helpful, courteous and great ambassadors for the hotel itself. We would most definitely stay again!
