I phoned yesterday (14th) to ask a few questions about the suitability of access for elderly people as I am arranging a day out for 30 - 35 people in April, the person I spoke to said that it would be ok for me to take a look and collect a menu, they opened at 11am. I made a special journey over and' ok I was a couple of minutes early but the manager who was a on the other side of the locked doors shouted at me 'two minutes' then left me standing in the rain for over 10!. I could see the staff inside and they saw me, no one bothered to let me in or at least offer some sort of explanation or apology, i decided not to bother if this was an indication of service. Well they have lost a booking, I will take our custom somewhere that offers good manners, service and a warm friendly atmosphere.
