“Magical blue carpet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

The woods are really amazing & reasonable walking distance even for small children. If you time the visit correctly, and the website does have updates for the flowers, you are in for a gorgeous sight for the eyes...the gentle slopes where the blue bells bloom under the trees, the paths between the blue bells, the walk by the lake and the picnic area are the treats...

“BACK TO NATURE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

I agree, please ignore people with negative views as this place is stunning! It was like going back to nature. Fabulous easy walks through the woods and the bluebells were like carpets of beautiful colour. All we could hear as we wondered along was the birds singing and it was soooo relaxing. Lots of wonderful scenery and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a picnic with us and a flask and we sat in the picnic area overlooking a large pond and a bridge watching the ducks. Myself and my daughter thought that £4 admission each was a real bargain for a lovely day out in the country with a picnic too. We were there for 5 hours altogether, truly value for money. Thank you very much to the owners. Please keep up the good work.

“Bluebells one, traffic management nil”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014 via mobile

The bluebells and their setting were wonderful and definitely worth experiencing. However, as an attraction that is advertised and charges an entrance fee we felt there should be an obligation to provide far better traffic management than we experienced today. We suggest an alternative exit/ one way system if at all possible.

“Beautiful relaxing day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

Some people posting reviews on here are unbelievable!
This place is stunning, what exactly did you expect?
Its a natural woodland with gorgeous walks through beautiful countryside. The whole reason for going here is to have a leisurely stroll around the woods to see an abundance of bluebells, it's absolutely beautiful.
As for tea and coffee.... Take a flask! Why should you expect to buy hot drinks?
There are plenty of places by the lake to sit and enjoy a picnic and generally you take your own drinks.
As for the track down to the woods.... It's a working farm and countryside. It's a little bit bumpy driving down to the entrance, so what?
Obviously the rude people who leave negative reviews about our countryside shouldn't go to places like this, you know what it is before you go, the title says "bluebell woods".
We had no problem with the staff on the gate, I found them to be very informative regarding different levels of walks and which one had the best bluebells.
As for the entrance fee.... I hardly think £4 per adult is expensive. We was there for many hours, walking, looking at farm animals, having picnics, playing on the field with our children, we all had a great time and we would go again.
If you have never been to Yoxhall Lodge Woods and you enjoy walking, please ignore the negative reviews and just go.

“Most beautiful walk ever.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

We have been meaning to visit this attraction for years and are so glad we finally made it (and ignored previous comments) absolutely glorious woods and walks - the perfect English countryside! The walks are well marked and maintained with good area for parking. I never even noticed the driveway to the farm so it can't have been that bad. Everyone was so friendly - both the the people running it and other visitors. Such a friendly atmosphere as families enjoyed a lovely afternoon. We loved it so much we are back again next weekend with family friends.
