Just returned home from Burton on Trent our son had been playing futsal at St Georges Park, he stayed in the Hilton there and we stayed in the Premier inn Burton Central. Extremely clean spacious and warm. Reception staff were great very freindly and not misserable like other hotels. We had breakfast at the beefeater next door very nice. Would definately recomend and stay here again.

Our second time staying here and whilst the beds might not be quite as soft as the other Premier Inn in Burton this was more convenient for our visit this time. We arrived on a very cold night and the room that we were allocated seemed to be experiencing problems with the heating! The staff on front desk were quick to allocate us to another room and all was very much as you would expect. Would probably use the other hotel on our next visit, but all in all, you can't really complain for £20!

I Spent 2 nights in the dump up the road as this Premier inn was full, i checked out of holiday inn express (dump up the road) after 2 nights i could not put up with the noise from next door, upstairs and people in the corridor also the dimmley lit rooms.
Anyway it was a relief that they had vacancies when i got there, as usual for this chain of hotels it was immaculatley clean my room was as expected well lit with a comfertable bed soft and firm pillows, air con and very spacious as was the bathroom over bath shower so you have the choice bath or shower, not just a claustrophobic cubicle as the H I up the road.
I chose to have breakfast the following morning, and was pleasantly suprised it was not the usual buffet cooked breakfast, you ordered what you wanted cooked and it prepared and cooked for the individual, all the usual cerials, fruits, crumpets, yoghurts etc where there plus fresh ground coffee from the costa coffee machine. great pity i was not booked in the Premier Inn for my 3 nights at Burton-on-Trent.

Room Tip: A premier inn room, not a holiday inn express room !

Hi we stayed for one night in a family room , myself, my wife and 10 yr old daughter and found the Premier inn Burton central suited us perfectly .We were at a graduation at the uni in Derby .
The receptionist was really friendly towards our daughter and the check in was quick and efficient, we were in room 109 on the first floor we found it to be spotless with a full double and asingle for our daughter .
The big plus is that nearby ( on site ) is the Beefeater inn we had breakfast the following morning - it was really superb I,ve paid £20 for worse breakfasts in other hotels also half a mile away is a toby inn which has recently opened we had the carvery at night -£5.99 and was really good value ,we would recommend a stay here for sure !!

Stayed here for 5 nights back in October 2012.

As usual the standard of the room was good, with high levels of cleanliness. NO air conditioning in the 21st Century is not acceptable!

The pub next door offered a selection of steaks, burgers etc etc, so just like every other Premier Inn.

My family and I stayed for two nights at the Burton on Trent Central Premier Inn on the occasion of my mother's funeral. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful; he rooms were large, clean and very well equipped. Ample parking space. We had dinner in The Beafeater Inn on the same site, which was very good value for money - excellent service and good choice of menu. We had breakfast at the nearby Morrisons. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Burton, or looking for a base to explore surrounding areas.

The Premier Inn in Burton on Trent is simple and provides everything you would expect of budget hotel but does it all really well. If all you are looking for is a comfortable room and some good food, try Premier Inn.
