Came home yesterday from a lovely 2 night Living Social deal here! We really enjoyed it, and the value for money was absolutely top notch! We were allocated the Mary suite which was lovely....old fashioned (as expected) but very clean and an up to date bathroom with fluffy white towels, and lashings of hot water! The only little niggle here was the mattress which was rather lumpy, with springs coming through that weren't conducive to a good nights sleep! Either needs replacing or a jolly good mattress topper!!

As part of the deal a 3 course meal was included in The Grill Room on the first night. This was absolutely delish! Huge portions, well cooked and presented and served to us by a lovely waitress called Amy! She was an absolute delight....friendly, helpful and efficient! Our breakfasts were also great! Fresh, tasty and excellently cooked! Lisa was also a credit to the Three Queens. Friendly, chatty and helpful at all times.......however there were one or two other ladies in the breakfast room who gave the impression they would far rather be somewhere else!!

Overall the service was totally great from reception to bar, and we thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway! Would recommend!!

We stayed for a weekend with a Livingsocial voucher, which was an absolute bargain. It is most definitely a three star hotel, a little worn around the edges but more than made up for by the fantastic staff and good food. Our room was spotlessly clean, not quite what I expected for an 'executive double' but great for the price. Breakfasts are freshly cooked and plentiful, the restaurant does beautiful food at night although the portions are rather small. The National Brewery Centre is just down the road and is a really interesting half day out. The pub across the road is a free house and a real ale drinker's delight. Jee Ja Jee's is an excellent Indian restaurant almost next door. Ten minutes drive to the National Memorial Arboretum which is also worth a visit - but bring your walking shoes! All in all a great weekend.

I was most inpressed in the way Nikki and Julia and the Three Queens have assisted us in our booking for us and 2 friends who are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary. Looking forward to our stay in February for 2 nights. Thanks ladies

We stayed here for a 2 night break using a living social voucher we had bought. We were very pleased with the hotel, the room was a good size and very clean, the bed was also comfortable. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Location wise it is excellent for the town centre as you are a few minutes walk away and there are lovely places you can reach by car. As part of our deal we had a 3 course meal on the first night which was excellent, very tasty. Breakfast was also included and there was lots of options to pick from, again it was very tasty. I would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed end of October 2013. We arrived and were partially showed to our room i.e the lift. The room was very very dated, old furniture, carpets, curtains and the very squeaky floorboards. The first night included a 3 course meal, which we could not fault it was delicious and the staff on duty that day were excellent. Sleep was really bad, the bed springs were so uncomfortable, and again the floorboards from the person upstairs was so loud. You also knew when they were in their bathroom. Breakfast was very good. All in all, staff and food were excellent but hotel itself, very old, needs updating dramatically. Would I stay here again, probably not.
