Spent 2 nights here in a family room.
The reception staff were both very polite and helpful. Food next door at table table was of good quality.
However, be aware that there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms and as a consequence have spent 2 of the most uncomfortably hot nights in a hotel room ever. I know that the hotel is in no way to blame for the weather however, it needs to made explicit in the hotels description about the lack of this. You cannot open any window beyond 3 inches which meant that very little air could get in.
We mentioned this on checkout and have had 1 night refunded, you need to speak up for every night if there was a problem. I have also contacted customer services because this needs sorting out.

We arrived after a 4 hour journey in torrential downpours ready for a much needed shower and rest.

We were early but Jade on reception kindly informed us that our room was ready

Unfortunately, given the very hot weather and the age of the building, there was no air conditioning and instead we had 3 electric fans. Also, given the design of the building our windows would not open past 3 inches thus restricting any air entering the room.

We endured a very hot & humid night with very little sleep, and although the hotel is not responsible for the hot weather, air conditioning or even bottled water in the rooms would have been a good idea.

The communal areas in some places were worn and really needed replacing. But the rooms were clean and tidy, everything you would expect to receive from premier Inn

Excellent staff, spotlessly clean, very pleasant rooms and yes we did have a good nights sleep. Tip Top breakfast. Good position to visit National Arboretum Memorial. Will use Premier Inn again and recommend it.

We found this premier in to be very comfortable although it does need to have some form of air conditioning installed in the bed rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and well presented and the staff were very attentive

Stayed in lots of premier hotels but this breakfast at this hotel was the worst possible, waited for 15 minutes before orders were taken and then it took a further 30 minutes for food to arrive... Cold!!! Bacon looked like it had been boiled, very fatty too and the omelette was totally tasteless..Biggest disappointment as we didnt want to spend the day at Alton towers on Empty stomaches at the cost of 26.25 ... very expensive and terrible value for this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotels postcode is incorrect and as a result we ended up at a dead end in the middle of a commer...

We stay in premier inns all over the country but this is a family weekend away we will treasure. The staff at this Hotel are by far the most welcoming and helpful from Lisa the manager who carried our pushchair up two sets of stairs as there was no lift with an infectious smile and jokes about big muscles to a cheerful night receptionist even at 3am when we were hot bringing us icey water if i recall correctly his name was Richard. The head chambermaid sam went out of her way to find all things that could cool our room down. This Hotel and team despite its older looking exterior really is a place to stay and have fun thank you.

I always find Premier Inn offer a good night's sleep and found this location no different. reception and restaurant staff were all really friendly and the room was spotless. The room only had a small ensuite shower but at £35 per room it was enough for our requirements. The room is a little dingy in the downstairs corridors but the manager has done their best by putting strategic uplights in places.
The only bad thing was the car park was on the opp side of a busy road and there was no safe central reservation in which to cross. I would not have liked to have cross with children and overnight baggage.
