“Fantastic - best place I've ever stayed at!”

This place is a real gem. It's absolutely stunning. Rooms are fantastic and the service is just as good. We stayed in room 2 and I highly recommend it. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, then stay here. It's better than all the other hotels in the area (including the Belfry in my opinion!). Customer service is first class and the breakfast is delicious!

We now have retired to Spain, and we had to come back to England to attend a wedding we were told we had been booked into a b&b in Hopwas.
Well being ex hotel owners we were not looking forward to staying in a b&b, being used to staying in hotels i suppose we are quite snobby !! But what a shock we had as soon as you drive on you knew you was coming to something different.
We had that personal greeting. we were shown to our room in the barn ! well it was breath taking could not have asked for more
As we came the day prior to the wedding we needed somthing to eat we walked just 3 minutes to the local pub The Tame Otter what value for money !!!
May i say thankyou to Lisa & Stuart for making our stay so comfortable at the farm . having paid £85 we feel that we had good value for our money you could not had better at a 5 star hotel again thankyou very much

We spent a long weekend at Oak Tree Farm (B & B) when we visited Hopwas to attend a wedding in August. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful and and the accommodation clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were shown to our room which was large with an en-suite bathroom. The staff were very flexible over breakfast timings (especially on the morning after the wedding when most people did not make it down until about 10am). Cereal, fresh fruit and any combination of cooked breakfast was available. The kitchen opened onto the breakfast room and was extremely clean and the staff happy to chat as they cooked. There is a very nice pub 5 mins walk from the farm called "The Tame Otter" which is set on the bank of the Coventry Canal. This was where we had lunch and dinner during our stay and the food was varied and tasty. We enjoyed our walks along the towpath in the mornings and were made to feel very welcome wherever we went. We do not drive and the farm was a short cab journey from Tamworth Station (£8.00ish). Only difficulty was that there is no shop in the village, so probably better for people with a vehicle. However we did have pizza delivered from Tamworth on Sunday night within 1/2 hour - chinese and indian delivery available too. The children in our party were made to feel very welcome and loved the small plunge pool and the horses in the adjacent field.

What an establishment!!! This Bed and Breakfast was by far the best we have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable, the rooms were stunning, the views were amazing - What a weekend! Big thanks to Lisa and Stuart - the owners - for making the weekend what it was, they bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.
I had looked on Trip Advisor before we stayed and I think that if anyone has anything negative to say about this place they need there head looking at! The Breakfast was unbelievable, everything was cooked fresh and the selection of fruit, jams and marmalades were great - I could of sat eating and looking at the views all day!!
Thankyou for making our Anniversary one to remember. We will definatley be back next year and the one after that!!!!!

i was workin over in tamworth for a few weeks had a terrible weeks stay in a travel lodge then got oak tree recomended to me by a college, well what was supposed to be a few weeks stay turned into over a months stay & oak tree farm hotel made my stay away from home very very comfortable indeed, nothing was too much trouble, stuart even made me a breakfast tray everyday as i left so early before breakfast.you are certainly made to feel part of the family and not just a guest . i can definately say u arrive as a guest but leave a friend. i stayed in several rooms over the month & every room was perfect, clean & spacious, with the added bonus of a fridge in the room.the hotel has a fantastic surrounding & beautiful views from the rooms. there is a small heated swimming pool and was great for a dip after work. i have recomended oak tree to several people & companys i highly recomend this hotel especially for the homely & personal touch.it was definately home from home for me & would return again without a doubt. lisa & stuart where perfect hosts!!!!!

Myself, Mother and Sister stopped for two nights.
Our room was lovely with everything you could ask for.
The breakfast was out of this world. You could have cereal, fresh fruit, full english, salmon, white and brown toast, tea and coffee and fresh orange juice.
The staff was so friendly, it was as if we had known them for years. Jean the cook was like a mother to us and she is an excellent cook.
Carol the cleaner was so helpful, if you have any concerns or requirements, she dealt with them so quickly.
Lisa and Stuart who run the bed and breakfast were so helpful and a lovely couple.
The village location was beautiful and we enjoyed our evening walks.
I would recommend anyone to stay there.
Go on give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

My friend booked me in so I had no idea what it was going to be like and when I was shown to my room I was over the moon as it was far better that a lot of hotels I stay in overnight on business. Breakfast the next day was amazing - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I will definitley stay again.
