Had a lovely lunch, fab lasagne and a pudding to die for!
Catered for children really well.

Could do with a little TLC in the loos!

Very friendly service, would definitely visit in the evening based on the lunchtime visit!!

We came here with some special friends, one of whom is a transplant patient and very strictly gluten free. To come into a restaurant and be told 'choose anything on the menu and we can make it gluten free' was frankly amazing. Normally you get the same old rubbish or salad, definitely a new regular spot for us.

We dropped in on the off chance last night for a table for two. Plenty of space yet they chose to seat us next to a table of 8. Squashed in the corner and unable to move. We breathed a sigh of relief when they finished and moved on. However staff cleared the table and reset for another party of 4, despite a fairly empty restaurant.
Ordered two bruschetta for starters, tomato and olive. When they arrived they were clearly two slices of supermarket bread toasted. A few tomatoes in large chunks, pickled olives chopped and no taste or seasoning evident.
Main course penne marinara, again a tasteless dish with smoked salmon trimmings and small cheap frozen prawns in a almost cheese flavoured sauce? No seasoning or any other ingredients. Also a pasta bake, cheap tasteless ingredients used. Neither of us could finish this food.
If you like 1980s décor which could do with a good clean, poor service and food this is the place for you.

We decided to book here as we were staying nearby for our anniversary and we were engaged in an Italian restaurant! Lovely setting, and staff were very friendly and happy. Would of preferred a table with a bit more privacy as the tables are very close to each other, so could hear other conversations quite clearly. On to the food, we ordered Insalata Con Pomodori Secc (Feta salad) and Tagliatelle Carbonara, arrived in good time and looked fantastic, tasted even better! I pinched some of the Tagliatelle and it was extremely tasty, would love to come back and have that as a main one day! For our mains we ordered Meatball Calzone and Bistecca Involtino (Sirloin steak rolled with parma ham, parmesan cheese, garlic & basil in a pi
zzaiola sauce) My Calzone was huge and only managed to eat half, the only negative thing about it was that the meatballs had quite a minty taste to them which I was not mad about... but overall tasty. My husbands facial expression whilst eating his said it all... he looked like he was melting in his seat as it was so delicious! Would definitely return in the future as service and food and price was very very good! We have to come back anyway as they had run out of cheesecake (We booked late evening) and it sounded yummy! Thank-you x
