This was my first visit. Took quiet a while to decide what to have some much to choose from and so different from any other Indian menu I've seen. Staff very friendly and as Mark S says nice to see the patron out talking to all customers. Can't wait to go again. Don't know if there is any seating outside as it was dark when we arrived.

Fantastic, innovative food. The meal was fantastic and the building has some character. Nice to see the patron out visiting tables too to talk to his customers. Can't wait to visit again

In the area on a break with friends and we're recommended this Indian.

Very friendly staff, very nice decor. Took a while to be seated and then to be served our first course (although happy to take more orders for drinks) - but to be fair they did seem busy. Good range of currys and not just your standard ones either.

Ordered a range of starters between us and they all came together. Great start as they were all very good - especially the beetroot and coconut samosa. The mains although tasty were just okay. Nothing blew us away (except the lamb madras!). Naan breads were good and not soaked in butter which is often the case. The South Indian chilli garlic chicken which I had was meant to be hot and when asked could be made hotter but was relatively mild.

Appearance of the chef going round the tables, the 'free' apertif (meant to be sambuca but was more like sourz), the 'free' rose for the girls - this was all slightly unnecessary.

In all, we had a lovely night, it was a good atmosphere and the food was okay. Just felt it could have been a lot better.

2  Thank pmilne

Tried many take aways in Leek, always been disappointed. Came here with my daughter, it was the best one yet. Only critisism was the onion baji... I reckon none of the Leek Indians make their own. They are all the same and always not very good. Apart from that, excellent.

Glad you enjoyed your take-away and thank you for finding the time to review us! Promise - we make our own onion bhaji's! Glad to see you found us better than others in the area - would be interested to know how you found them. Looking forward to seeing you dine in!

Yunis and his staff were marvellous. Mr Mashur welcomed us personally and ensured our meals were to our requirements.
The food was very good, tasty, well presented and value for money.
The setting was perfect and the wine excellent value for money.
We could not fault our evening at Qarma,
We have previously eaten at 3 other Indian restaurants in Leek but Qarma was the best by far!
