Just spent a week in the fantastic Stags View Lodge, want to come back already
A friendly welcome from Trevor the owner and we were off to a great start
The lodge is beyond expectation, it really was so well finished with quality oak furniture and the most comfortable beds ( to rest aching legs after daily circuits of Cannock Chase
2 beds with ensuite bathrooms super !!
Beautiful views of the opposing hillside just cap it off with deer nestling in the ferns and rabbits and a fox too
The deer are waiting for you on arrival, Trevor can clearly talk to the animals and get them to do a little trot at check-in. Great tennis court which is free and the pool works really well a bit tired of the center parks squash, Everything is no fuss and no bother to a very welcoming family team headed by Trevor. his wife and son in law.
5 mins from Cannock chase is just the thing for family walks and cycles
Huge Tesco 10min by car for self catering requirements
My little son didn't want to go home
This is a chav free zone, no chips, slots or beer swilling loons and that get my vote for a return visit very soon

We were visiting the UK and as we live in the Middle East we wanted somewhere quiet, in the countryside and very natural. Silvertrees did not disappoint.

The deer really do come right up to the caravan and some cheeky ones are actually brave enough to come and eat out of your hands. Large bags of pellets are available to buy from reception at a very reasonable price of £3.50

Our only surprise was that if you are there for two weeks then there is no cleaning service during this time. Our bedding change was forgotten, but quickly provided once we asked. You do need to change your own beds also.

All in all a lovely site, with full facilities.

Just returned from a lovely weeks break at Silvertrees Holiday Park. We stayed in Blackberry 2 caravan which was very comfortable and had great views of the countryside where lots of deer roam. Our children loved feeding the deer. The purpose of our holiday was to visit Alton Towers, which is a full on day so to come back to this peaceful holiday park was idylic. I would stay here again and would probably book into the lodge which looks stunning.

We spent an excellent week in this peaceful park. Our children, 6 and 8 of age, did enjoy feeding the stags after being amazed by nearing them so easily.
We thank the owners for their welcome. They were very helpful and gave us advice to approach the deer or to tell us about the wildlife, and they even didn't mind a pleasant chat with us..
Our accommodation was very clean and we enjoyed all the facilities.
Last but not least, we booked the swimming-pool for private sessions : it is clean, roomy, comfy so no wonder we wanted to book the day after !
Therefore we might be back because we loved it !
How lucky the holiday-makers are in Silver Trees !

Just arrived back from a stay at Stags Lodge in the lovely Silver Trees Caravan Park. Beautiful surroundings, nature on your doorstep the ideal location to relax and unwind. This is our third visit, first in the lodge and wow what can we say, clean, luxuriously presented accommodation views from the huge decked verander were stunnng. Waking every morning to see the deer, rabbits, squirrels and array of birds was just a pleasure. The indoor heated pool was fantastic and so reasonably priced for a private swim which we enjoyed everyday. The site is quiet and not full of razzmatazz so if your looking for someone to entertain you and the kids this is not for you. If your looking for an ideal base to explore surrounding areas I.e an hour from west mid safari park, Leicester space museum, Richard 111 exhibition, Drayton manor, Alton towers or even closer the beautiful Cannock Chase, Lichfield, Shugborough etc then I would highly recommend it. You come back to the lodge relax play family games, watch DVD or go out to some really lovely local restaurants. This is a family quality time place , loved it didn't want to come home and cannot wait to go back... Again!

This is one of the most amazing holidays I've had! My whole family had such a good time we can't wait to go back! The staff are very friendly & helpful. The deers came to say hello within half an hour of arriving, my 7 year old son was totally overwhelmed with the deer feeding out of his hands! Highly recommend this place to everyone I know! Thanks Silver Trees for an unforgettable time, see you next year!
