My husband and I spent a weekend relaxing at Pennyhill and part of our package was a meal in the Brasserie.
From the moment we arrived, we received nothing but excellent service from the wait staff and they were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and about the hotel in general too.
We had a 3 course meal and I have to say, the food was fantastic! It tasted amazingly fresh and looked like works of art too, I was almost afraid to cut into it and eat it as it was so pretty. I ordered vegetarian food and usually on menus at high end restaurants you get a crumby choice - usually a giant Portobello mushroom with a smattering of goats cheese, but not here, there a good few choices! I went for the artichoke dish with polenta and my gosh, it was delicious!
I would definitely recommend this place for special occasions or if you just want to spoil yourself! You don't have to be staying in the hotel to dine here either! When you book, ask for a table by the window and enjoy the lovely views of the estate!
