After arriving at approx 8pm Friday 4th. July 2008 was informed sorry the restuarant is closed for refurbishment. Asked where we could obtain an evening meal and advised to a Pub around the corner. You would think at first helpful. But you would be wrong sorry our kitchen is closed today why dont you try a pub in Yateley.
Rooms very small can only be discribed as a Poor Travel Lodge at best. Breakfast in the mornings Full English yes but swimming in grease. Booked for 3 nights how much bad luck was that. At £85 per night B&B a total rip off. Reception staff can't even smile or say have a nice day more interested in playing cards on the PC. When you get up in the morning breakfast is served in the Pub in front of the poor quality bedroom block. So when its raining you get soaked on your route march to breakfast.
The Pub itself if a picture postcard view its a pity that the accomodation doesnt match the view. Please think twice or even three times if you wish to stay here.More
