Well where to start - wow...

Having stayed in many chain hotels around London before travelling from Airports - Holiday Inns, Hilton, Copthorne, etc we thought we'd try a B&B/Guesthouse. Especially as more and more the shuttle buses run every 1/2hr or 45mins so you could be hanging around abit.

After reading the reviews of Trumbles I booked up, and I would have no hesitation recommending this great place to anyone. The couple who run it are friendly, down to earth, professional, and you feel such trust and relaxation when staying there. We were totally chilled and enjoyed it..

Check in was lovely and quick compared to big hotels, the rooms are lovely - the shower was great. The bathroom and bedroom are decorated lovely and with many personal touches. I loved loved loved it ;-)

There were yummy biscuits to go with tea/coffee and also a bottle of water.

We left early for the airport and had a slice of toast and coffee before we set off, the continental breakfast was set up very nicely - plenty to chose from. On return we were picked up promptly by David.

There are several pubs nearby, we went to the Six Bells which is a Vintage Inn pub however there are other pubs nearer too. In each room there is a folder which has menus so you have an idea of what each pub serves, great idea.

I didn't take any photos as there are some good photos on their website trumbles.co.uk

If I ever stay at Gatwick again this will be my first choice every time. Thanks so much to Julia and David, we really do appreciate everything..

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night before our holiday in Rhodes. We were very impressed with the clean and homely bedroom and had a wonderful night's sleep, before our flight. As we had to set off before 7am we were able to help ourselves to a continental style breakfast in the conservatory before being picked up (complimentary taxi) and taken to the airport - just a 10 minute drive. The pick-up on our return home was quick and efficient and we would, without hesitation, stay here again. Sooo much better than a Gatwick chain hotel with no soul!

What a find! Perfect in every way. Royal Doulton in the bedroom! Can't fault Trumbles. We normally fly from Manchester, but it's worth going from Gatwick for the Trumbles experience. We'll be back. Many thanks & regards

Stayed for 1 night prior to catching a Gatwick flight having found reviews on Trip Advisor and left car for 7 days. Accomodation excellent and service taking us to and from airport first class. One tip if staying in winter and hoping to walk into village in the evening for a meal, wear some bright clothing and/or take a torch.

We stayed here the night before we left for egypt. we had a lovely greeting from the owners and were shown to our room, which was lovely, comfortable and clean.
We went into the village for dinner which was nice and all within walking distance.
In the morning we had a delicious cooked breakfast before being taken to the airport.
We left the car there which was great, as we didnt have to worry about the airport parking.
On returning back to gatwick we stayed overnight again.
I would recommend Trumbles to everyone.
A lovely place with friendly people.
