I stayed here with my family in the double room. It took us a while to find but Karen was very helpful giving directions over the phone! The place was very picturesque and the room was gorgeous. There was plenty of space and a double and single bed. There was also a table and chairs for eating. We ordered a takeaway and ate it on the patio which was very private and peaceful, overlooking the garden, woods and a stream. The bed as very comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally clean and well looked after. We were well looked after also!
The room is at the rear of the house and so very quiet away from the road. Breakfast was provided in the room and a cooked breakfast can be ordered, which was beautifully cooked and presented. The only downside was that we only had one night here.We usually stay at branded hotels but after this we have completely had a change of mind.

Having just spent two nights here I have to agree with all the other reviews. Karen is a delight to meet and nothing seems to be to much trouble for her. The two dogs are an unusual welcoming party. As for the the cradle itself, yes it can be hard to find and yes it's a shame it faces the road but don't be put off. Inside everything is done to the highest standard and sitting on the porch with a cold drink in the evening, you can feel your stresses just floating away. We intend to go back in the winter months to experience the log burner and underfloor heating, and to see Karen and the dogs again lol oh,and the area itself is stunning. A real find and a sheer delight.

Perfect with lots of special extras. Karen the owner has got this 100% right and has customer service down to a fine art. The cottage annex had been sympathetically restored and filled with beautiful things. We loved the combination of traditional / vintage combined with all mod cons. Thank you from J & C

B&B taken to the next level. Unbelievable stay at the Devils Cradle for our 25 Wedding Anniversary. We have already planned our next visit. The Cradle could not be any more perfect, I would not change one thing. Karen is the perfect hostess and boy can she cook a breakfast! I can not complement the Devils Cradle enough.

We stayed in the renovated farm store for six nights. We had an amazing time there, the breakfast was awesome! Thank you very much, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The owners went way and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Highly recommended!

Simply wonderful! Wished we could have stayed more than one night. The ‘lodge’ is a very comfortable and homely with some truly individual and thoughtful touches. A unique and romantic escape located in beautiful surroundings.

The attention to detail is amazing from the walk in shower through to the kitchenette. I have a lot of experience with wood burning stoves and the one here is really good! Not that you really need the extra heat because the under-floor heating is extremely good. Such a warm cosy place to stay.

Thanks Karen for creating a very special B&B, you increase the benchmark for many other properties to follow which is fantastic! We will be back next time we have the chance to do so.
