I took my wife and daughter there today - Mothers Day - it was, of course, busy!
A little bit of a wait by the food was excellent and the service first class.
Would recommend for that spewcial occasion,

After reading the reviews my boyfriend and I thought that this place would be a great place to dine. The food is good but nothing special for the price you pay.. For £100 + for 2 people is expensive for what you get.

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to give us your thoughts.
Our menu is always locally and seasonally sourced and the use of fresh ingredients means that we often pay a premium for the great quality. We do our utmost not to pass this on to our guests and have a set menu for you to choose from, and wines to accommodate all budgets.
We are aware that because of the quality of our ingredients we have to cater for a number of budgets, so we would like to suggest visiting us on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening where we offer 3 courses for the price of 2. We look forward to welcoming you back to the restaurant in the near future.

Visited two days ago, having heard good things from friends. Did not disappoint. The welcome and service were attentive (but not too much). The food was delicious; presentation great, the portion sizes just right and the taste and flavours excellent. One of the best meals we've had in a long time and all the 'little extras' just added to the enjoyment. This will be the first of many visits I'm sure.

This is a restaurant with pretensions, but which does not deliver to the standard required, to justify some of the highest prices in Croydon. It does not offer the' something special' you have a right to expect in terms of service and atmosphere - and the food is good but not good enough.

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. It is true that we are one of the more expensive restaurants in Croydon, but this is reflected in the menu, which is devised from using some of the best local produce and ingredients.
For many the atmosphere is something that is a huge draw for those in Croydon and the surround, and provides something that little bit special but in a relaxed atmosphere in a neighborhood environment.
If you would like to visit us again during the week we have a special menu of 3 courses for the price of 2 Tuesday – Thursday. We do hope you choose to visit us again.

Dined at Alberts Table on Saturday night, and I can tell the food and service was superb, we were looked after by the Maître'd who gave us lovely suggestions for the wine with each course. The scallop starter was fantastic, my wife had the duck salad which she enjoyed as well, for the main we both went for the beef which was cooked to perfection. For the desert my wife had a soufflé one of the best deserts I have eaten. For digestives we were recommended lovely Italian fizzy desert wine which we enjoyed a lot . Alberts table has no competition in Croydon or miles radius, it's time for them to get a Michellin star...

Thank you for taking the time to give us such a positive food, we are glad you enjoyed your meal with us. It is always a pleasure to get good reviews, and I will make sure that the staff get to see your response. The sparkling Moscato d’Asti desert wine has been very popular since we have put it on the menu.
Thank you for the suggestion of a Michelin Star too!
