Used this place many many times. It's fine and adequate for my business needs. It's good value for money. What do people expect from a massive chain of hotels that are low cost? This ticks all the boxes and I will return again. The surroundings are lovely compared to other hotels in the Croydon area.

Thank Shaun F

What a total disappointment!! Took a friend and her children to lunch in the restaurant on Saturday 5th July. Were shown to a table promptly and provided with menus. Drinks order taken. We ordered some starters to share and our main courses about 1.10 p.m. After about 45 minutes we asked how long it would be before the starters appeared. The 10 year old in our party was getting impatient at that point. We were informed that they thought we wanted all the food together, although nothing like that had been indicated. We were told that we could have the starters separately but as the main courses were nearly ready they would have to be served virtually at the same time. My husband then found the manager and requested that they cancel the starters order. So we sat and sat for a further 20 minutes with nothing happening. With another appeal as to when we would be served we were promised our meals were being plated up. Even then it was another 5 minutes and 1 of the orders was wrong!! Our server did apologise and offered a £20 reduction on the bill but there was no satisfactory explanation as to what occurred. We think our order was totally mislaid and that they only started cooking it when we had already been seated for an hour.

I was billeted at Coombe Lodge by a family member. It is an establishment that also provides accommodation through a separate arm of the business, which for daily purposes operates seamlessly.

The room was most adequate , and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff were all most attentive to the requirements of their patrons .

I stayed there for 10 days.

Coombe Lodge is a place where people want to be. It has a special ambience of the past days of Great Britain. You can almost hear Noel Coward singing in the breeze, about London pride, and that is the name of one of the great tasting ales available there.

Went here using Tastecard. Good selection food. Food was well cooked and hot. I had roast pork dinner which came with a huge amount of roast potatoes. Surroundings were really nice - bit like a country house. Would perhaps benefit from child-free room as did resemble a nursery despite being 7pm.
