This is a great value hotel for couples or families on a budget. London is very expensive so this is a cheaper alternative with the train station virtually at yr doorstep straight into Central London.Rooms were modern ,clean and well kept and the breakfast is great value for money.Easy walk to large shopping area in Croydon.Great for a couple of nights with the kids! Found the staff particularly helpful.

Room Tip: Free wifi is only for 30mins per day but you can pay for more if you need.

This is a new Premier Inn and one of the best I have stayed in. We paid £39 plus the cost of breakfast, which is excellent value considering how easy it is to reach all the London attractions from here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the rooms immaculately clean and comfortable (usual Premier Inn style). Security at the hotel is very high.
There were a few coach parties staying the night we were there and so we were given a room on the top floor so we wouldn't be disturbed when they left early the next morning. The only potential problem was that we arrived at about 9pm and the coach groups were all just arriving for dinner and at first staff said that we would be unable to eat there as they were full, they were trying to offer helpful suggestions nearby and then said we could eat there if we didn't mind that there may be a wait for food to arrive. The restaurant and food were both very good and we didn't actually wait long at all.
I was a little comcerned about the hotel not having its own car park but there is a secure NCP car park literally opposite and you get a card to put in the machine after your car park ticket and it gives you a 35% discount. We left the car there for 24hours and I think it was £6.50. The car park was busy during the day as people seemed to leave cars there while they got the train into Central London, so I'm not sure how easy parking would be if you arrived before 5pm but it may be fine.
It is an easy 2 minute walk to East Croydon station, which is great for making connections into Central London and the surrounding area.

We stayed at the Croydon Premier Inn for 6 very comfortable nights. The room was spacious and the bed was large and very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly cleaning and the services and facilities were excellent. A very friendly, helpful team of employees. Will definitely stay there or at another Premier Inn again.

Stayed over one night in this hotel. Registration on automated desk is a bit stressy and might be not so handy for people that are not familiar with computers. Room was clean and all services where provided as booked. The hotel has also a remarkable high level of access security as you don't get to the room levels without a correctly activated elevator.
Minor remark is the "Free" WiFi : it's only free for the first half hour. Longer use of WiFi costs 3 GBP per night, a service that in most hotels is free of charge.

A little impersonal but very well situated for East Croydon station. Used it as a base when attending a big party in Crystal Palace. Quiet, clean and staff very helpful. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a three night stay here recently and I really enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was very comfy and I slept really well.

I wasn't sure what the noise levels would be like but we were on the fifth floor and never got disturbed by anyone else, either guests or people outside.

All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and attentive and they had a doorman on in the evenings when we came back late. You also need a room card to reach any of the floors aside from reception which is good for security.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how close it is to the station - if you come out of the second exit it's just a few hundred yards to the hotel. If you use the main entrance/exit it will take about five minutes.

An excellent stay, definitely recommended.

Have stayed in quite a few Premier Inns but this one stands out. Staff at reception friendly and efficient even let us make a call on their phone as we did not have international roaming and had to meet friends locally. Room was spotlessly clean and fresh and well appointed except for the fact Premier seem to have decided to discontinue land lines in their rooms and still charge for WIFI. We had stayed in 7 European countries and everywhere had it FOC even the B&B in Ireland. Restaurant and bar were well above average and the staff were again very friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: We stayed in the back and had no noise whatsoever.
