Have just returned from 2 nights staying at the Walnut Tree House B and B chosen as we were visiting Hampton Court Flower Show. We couldn't have chosen better. We stayed in the twin bedded room - spacious and clean. Tea; coffee and biscuits on the landing were a welcome addition and it was no problem not having an en suite as the bathroom was just over the hall - large and clean.
Breakfast was served in the super conservatory - quiet music accompanied fresh fruit; cereal; juices; yoghurts and toast and croissants - no need for a cooked breakfast. The garden was a treat in itself and a credit to John and Jane. Location was perfect for visiting the Flower Show and so close to a great assortment of restaurants; antique and gift shops.
It felt a privilege to stay in John and Janes home. I believe they are moving - albeit nearby - I only hope they continue to do B and B as they are super hosts and we aim to return to the area.

Room Tip: Am sure all rooms are fine - we had a room at the front but there is little road noise.

We very much appreciate your kind comments; it was a pleasure looking after you & we very much hope that if you visit this area again you will come and stay with us.
Our "move" does not seem to be happening (at least for several months) & so we would like to continue accepting B&B guests at WTH as long as possible, & then hopefully at our new house locally too after a refurbishment.

The place is ideal for those who are visiting the Hampton Court Palace and there are quite a number of restaurants nearby. The owner is a lovely couple who went the extra mile to help me arrange for the cab when there was an miscommunication between the cab company and me.
Thanks John and Jane for making my 2 nights stay a very pleasant one! :)

Room Tip: Definitely a great location for those visiting the Hampton Court Palace!

We were delighted that after your long flight for the Hampton Court Music Festival, you selected WTH B&B for your accommodation. You were a lovely guest, & we hope to meet again one day.

My husband and I stayed at the Walnut Tree House for two nights while we attended the Hampton Court Festival. It was perfect. Beautiful home, nice rooms, clean bathroom and lovely continental breakfast each morning. John and Jane are warm and gracious hosts. The location is perfect and less than a five minute walk to the lovely little village and the palace. We will be back next year. Highly recommended. Thanks for your hospitality.

We have just spent 3 nights at this lovely B&B. Jane and John are extremely warm hosts who are willing to assist and please however they can. They have a beautiful home with a magnificent garden. Our room on the first floor was very comfortable including lovely bed linen. Breakfast comprising fresh fruits, yoghurt and toast was perfect. Hampton Court was a great location for us as we came in via Heathrow and departed from Gatwick. It was great to visit the Palace and there were also many restaurants to choose from, but still maintained a village feel. We also had a day in London which was only 30 minutes away by train.
Highly recommended!

Once again, we would like to say how much we appreciate our guests taking the trouble to write a report for us - & thank you for your kind words.
For no particular reason that we know of, we seem to be enjoying the company of quite a few Australian guests at the moment, & we especially welcome those who are so tactful & diplomatic as not to mention the result of "the Ashes" last winter!
Seriously though - enjoy the rest of your European holiday & we hope we meet again one day.

John and Jane were very welcoming when we arrived after a long flight from Australia.
John was very helpful in helping us organise a taxi from Heathrow.
Jane thanks for the help with the washing we really appreciate it.
We had a lovely stay, the room was lovely and clean along with the private bathroom.
Breakfast was continental and more was available on request, we loved the fresh raspberries.
The train line was a short walk away so making it easy to gain access to Waterloo and other connecting stations.
the gentleman at the train station ticket office was particularly helpful with our travel on the trains.
Short walk to Hampton Court Palace.
We ate in the evenings locally having a range of foods from Indian, fish and chips and pub food.
We really enjoyed our stay at Walnut Tree House
Thanks Jphn and Jane for making us feel so very welcome.

Once again a very warm welcome and the same impeccable treatment. Great room and superb breakfast in a very stilish conservatory. Whilst I may have reviewed a previous stay I cannot but say that my first thoughts about a great and convenient place to stay remains the same. There is a considerable lack of good accommodation in the area aside some very expensive ones outside Hampton Court. The Railway station to London is half a mile away, what more could one require. The village is about 400 yards away and is very eclectic with several antique shops. You can park off road an added bonus

Room Tip: First floor front.

Thank you Robert & Bobbie for your kind words - we very much enjoyed having you back a second time
And thank you too to all our other guests, whom we have been delighted to entertain, but particularly those who have taken the trouble to write reviews.(sorry we have not acknowledged each one separately)
Jane and I have felt privileged to have had the opportunity to share our house & location with so many interesting & pleasant folk.
Sadly we plan to move/"downsize" next year (2014) but are hoping to be able to accept guests until mid summer or even Autumn.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights, and really couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. Even before we arrived John went out of his way to arrange for another family member to meet us, as he and Jane were planning to be out that afternoon.
We arrived extremely jet-lagged after our long-haul flight from New Zealand and were delighted to be warmly welcomed, but then left to get on with freshening up. We had an excellent sleep and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed the communal table in the breakfast room and met a lovely Canadian couple who were staying there at the same time. The house itself is lovely and decorated in keeping with the "feel" of the place. We did not have an ensuite, but a full bathroom hall was private and we were provided with a dressing-gown, so this was not a problem at all. And the gardens! What can I say, they were so very beautiful!
The location is very convenient being only a short walk from Hampton Court train station, and when you buy a day pass it is very reasonably priced to get into London.
Overall, a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay here again.
