Description: Step through the door of this former 16th century Roman tavern to find a warm, vibrant restaurant featuring a rustic Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. Tradition, family, perfection and warmth are just few of the ingredients that make our restaurant. Our passion is to cordially serve a real taste of Italian cuisine. Here in Surrey, Chef patron Enzo Baldascino offers its guests a truly new experience in eating out. Whilst offering a fine dining service, you will enjoy the most exquisite traditional Italian food, with authentic homemade dishes only found in the heart of Italy

“The village Italian - reliably and consistently marvellous”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

Every Surrey village has one. Ewell used to have several. And now we have three, two of which are terrible, and the Neapolitan Kitchen, which is very good indeed! It sounds like 'damning with faint praise' to say that the NK simply does what one expects a good Italian to do. But that's it's secret. A menu packed with comfort food favourites, a wine list that's priced to encourage you to order that second bottle without taking out a second mortgage, and very friendly and professional service. The two competitor Italian restaurants in Ewell Village fail to deliver on most, if not all of those counts, which is why the locals keep coming back to what we still call 'The King Bill' (after the pub that used to be here several centuries ago!) Worth noting that if you're planning a function, the Neapolitan Kitchen is also a very good choice. We've been here for romantic dinners à deux, for lunches with half a dozen friends and for a couple of massive beanos where we've taken over the place... and the standards of cuisine and service don't falter. If you haven't been here, find an excuse not to cook tonight and give it a go - it's not expensive and it really IS very very good indeed! Long may you continue as the 'the village Italian'!

“Old school Italian - in a good way. ”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

What a great restaurant - the warm welcome, the attentive staff, the perfect ambiance, the well priced wine list and the near faultless food, all points to a business that the owners truly care about.

Definitely one to go to again.

“Great restaurant!”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

We went to this place last night - it was cracking! Lucky we had booked as they were full and turning people away at the door. I can see why - great food, great prices and really nice staff. Would highly recommend this place.

“Authentic Italian in Ewell Village”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Ewell Village seems currently to be blessed with two good restaurants (not always so!), both of which we have recently tried for the first time. Italian restaurants are ubiquitous these days, but there are significant differences in choice and quality from one to another. Our opinion is that "The Neapolitan Kitchen' has it pretty much right on the button with its varied menu coupled with well cooked and presented food. We were particularly impressed with the service that was attentive but not overpowering. All this was set in a pleasant and well patronised establishment, and is another restaurant that we'll keep on our favourites list.

“Surprisingly Good”
Reviewed 9 June 2014 via mobile

As I live in Italy and travel to the UK, I usually cringe when I find out that clients have booked an Italian restaurant. However, this was a very pleasant surprise.
The food was very good and served in a way that you would find in Italy. I had a seafood pasta and fish main, both of which were well cooked and very tasty. I felt that the sauce with the pasta was a little watery, but the flavour was good and it gave me an excuse to soak up the last of it with bread!
I would definitely eat here again.
