“Always a hit lovely staff”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

We visit this pub on a moderately regular basis and we have never been let down. the food is always great although sometimes a little slow in coming out. the service however is always professional and really friendly especially a couple of the young girls! would recommend this little hidden pub to anyone, especially the sunday roasts!

“A Nice Change”
Reviewed 24 December 2013 via mobile

We were recommended this place by the couple we bought our house from
Twice we have eaten and one for just drinks
The menu choice is good and food always fresh the only downside is that it has a bigger eating are than drinking area

“Pub run like a children's playground”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

This is the second time I have reviewed this pub, the first I gave a good rating and enjoyed going there. How things change. I have been using this pub for some years and often go on a Sunday for a roast, the food is good, but time after time badly behaved PARENTS allow their children to run around the pub. This Sunday was no exception only more unruly and running around screaming and knocking other people's tables. When my husband mentioned this to the Barman we were told that it is a family pub and basically Like it or Lump it. We neither like it and will certainly not lump it. I have 5 grandchildren of my own of various ages, the youngest twins of 3 years old. We take them out often and they are never allowed to run around and ruin other peoples meals. If Parents want to take their Children out in public then they should have the courtesy to be responsible for their behaviour. The attitude of this pub is appalling and we shall not be going back and will not be recommending it to either friends of family.

“Expensive and very rude Managment”
Reviewed 23 November 2013 via mobile

I used to like this pub as I live nearby but under new Managment (young skinny girl with strange haircut) it isn't welcoming anymore. Rude and tired staff and very expensive food.
