I received a very warm welcome from the owners at Kiln Farm, my room was ready, warm, clean and welcoming with a jug of fresh flowers. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, easily large enough for 2 people to occupy with the added benefit of a small seating area with 2 comfy chairs. Excellent bathroom and shower, internet connection, TV, microwave, sink, fridge and tea making facilities. One of my main reasons for picking this b&b was the location, being close to several good pubs, country walking and central Farnham. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I had the "room only" option, but I found the owners very approachable and would not hesitate to return for another lovely, peaceful stay.

Room tip: Pick one of the individual out buildings converted into rooms and set round a lovely courtyard.

I stayed 2 nights for a course at Squires Kitchen. It was a cosy converted outbuiding with comfortable double bed (might be a bit small for 2) and pleasant continental breakfast with muesli and toast. Clean and comfortable shower bathroom, small tv and good internet. fridge and microwave, and kettle.
Owners welcoming and helpful. Although they asked for arrival time the room wasn't ready at 4 and it wasn't serviced by 4.30 when i returned the next day.
Difficult to find because this was once a farm but is now in a built up area still based on the old winding narrow lanes and the entry is up a steep ramp. Do not on any account let your satnav take you down Black Pond lane, ignore because the next turning will take you there.
Parking is a bit cramped until you get used to it.
This is probably a good bet for Squires Kitchen because town centre hotels and b&b have no parking except town centre car park which is a stiff walk to Squires Kitchen. I parked in the station car park which cost £7.60 a day and needed to be there by 8.15 to secure a place.
There is some roadside parking if you wait until later.
I would probably use it again at £54 per night plus £5 breakfast.

Thanks for your helpful and encouraging comments. Squires Kitchens do wonderful courses and we do hope you will do another and stay with us then. (Yes, Sat Nav's can take you up the strangest places - notably Black Pond Lane! Incidentally our website does advise ignoring this Sat Nav turning but I guess we need to get Sat Nav's to alter their instructions!)

Despite many good responses by previous Trip Advisor members I did not rate Kiln Farm B & B at all. The room was cold and took sometime to heat up. Very small room for two. The twin beds were very uncomfortable.

We booked a cooked breakfast…which when served was cooked but very very basic. One fried egg. One sausage and bacon. Toast was sparse. Coffee was just OK. Certainly not value for money. Breakfast was served in the main house and we had to stand outside waiting for the door to open …even after knocking for some 10 minutes.

Don't be misled with the idea of a traditional farm as the name may suggest. Might have been a farm house many years ago-so our idyllic views of a farmhouse were soon demolished. Yes you are allowed to take a dog-but at a price.

Like other reviewer quite difficult to find…probably as we were looking out for a farm.

Will not return.

Baffled by your comments. We have had glowing reports on the comfort of that bed but not all beds suit everyone. We never (unless asked) serve1 sausage or 1 bacon. Invariably a standard cooked breakfast has 1 egg not 2 - we would of course do 2 if requested. We chose this b&b for its location. Firstly it isn't the easiest place to find, it could do with better signs at the bottom of the drive And secondly lights are needed in the parking area as we almost backed into the fence.
The room was homely and clean, however the room was not ready when we turned up after stating on their website that it would take a few days to set up, yet still not done when we checked in.
The internet didn't work on our first night/day and the response was pretty poor and dismissive.
Having stayed for five days, we would expect that the towels would be cleaned and changed at least once.. You could also put bigger towels in the room as not everyone is a small size and at a bigger size (16uk) I had no chance of wrapping it around my chest. In the second room there was only a hand towel so no chance of even a shower, and when we would knock it seemed like it was more an inconvenience than it should be.. All in all the rooms was lovely but there is room for improvement..
I don't know If this was due to the holiday season but wouldn't come back to find out.

It is good to have feedback and good that you were pleased with the room, location and cleanliness. A bit baffled about the internet as it was working every day although I know that one of your laptops had a problem when you arrived. We have a policy of changing towels every four days and as you stayed for 4 days (not 5), we didn't change towels. Apologies for not supplying a bath towel for room 2. Sorry that you felt our service wasn't perfect but I guess that the Christmas/New Year period is a busy time.

Stayed here in the summer of 2013. We liked the unique style of the room (including the owners artwork), the homeliness of the house and the beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was simple but enjoyable enough and provided a nice start to our day in the breakfast room. Both the hosts were very welcoming and helpful which is always the number one priority whenever we stay.

Room tip: There are only two rooms that we know of but not sure which is the better one as I have no experience of the other
