The lodges are really nice and cosy really warm in the winter and the hot tub was amazing. Looking up at th starts in the hot tub drinking champagne what more could you want!

This is our second time at Tilford Woods - we always get a Cobbett Traditional because of the Hot Tub - for what you get, we think it is very good value for money.

The surrounding woodlands are also stunning and we went for daily trail runs for about an hour. As always, the lodge itself is beautiful, clean, stocked (as in kitchenware, towels, bedding etc) very well and has everything you need. Staff are excellent and friendly.

The ONLY things (and it still won't stop me from wanting to come back) is that the hot tub now needs to have a temperature reading three times a day. From what we could make out, this meant that someone was going to come round and physically check the temperature. This was annoying, we are the sort of people that like to spend all day in and out of the tub at our own leisure and don't want to 'time' these things or be checking the clock. Secondly, the wifi reception/service is very very bad/slow and even things like Netflix and YouTube were blocked. We took our iPads with us as we wanted to watch some movies etc but couldn't. One of us had a lot of admin work to do on a Sunday for a last minute interview and couldn't even get into emails - or would then finally get in and then the system would freeze and you have to start again. I appreciate that many people want to come to Tilford to get 'off the grid' but we needed a wifi service. That's it, temperature checking and wireless service - but I still went back home raving about the place to family and friends and will re book for sure. I love it here.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a positive review on your recent stay with here at Tilford Woods. We are so glad you had a good time and found the lodge well equipped. Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the hot tubs have to be tested regularly as part of health and safety regulations and I’m sure you will appreciate the importance of ensuring they are running safely for guests. We are looking into the wifi situation at the moment to see how it can be improved. Thank you again for your review and we hope to see you back at Tilford Woods soon.

This was a wonderful place to stay it had all we needed for our four night break, the pub's for lunch or dinner were quite satisfactory especially the Spotted Cow at Lower Bourne, we had lunch at The Donkey at Elstead in their conservatory which was also nice but the entrance to the car park is a bit awkward.
Downside if you want to visit places of interest you need to go further afield it is really a walkers paradise.

We really appreciate you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Tilford Woods. Your feedback is very important to us. We are very lucky to have so many lovely country pubs nearby where guests can enjoy a meal. The area is very popular with walkers but there are quite a number of interesting places nearby. We now have a large selection of new leaflets on local attractions and places of interest for guests who would prefer not to travel too far afield. Thank you again and we hope that you will pay us a return visit.

Tilford Woods is a great location to get away for a break, and this is the third time we've stayed at this park. It is situated in a quiet location and only has around 20 lodges which are placed so that none are overlooked by their neighbors. We spent a 4 night break which included local sightseeing and a trip to London on the train from nearby Woking station. The lodges are spacious and very clean. Perhaps the best part for those who do not want to cook for themselves is the fantastic pub which you can access direct from the park, where the food is wonderful and reasonable priced. I would certainly recommend without hesitation.

Thank you so much for the great review on your recent stay with us. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit and found your lodge spacious and clean. Tilford Woods is perfectly located for guests wishing to have a day trip to London with regular trains to Waterloo from Farnham. The nearby pub is always very popular with guests and being just a short walk is ideally situated. We hope that we will see you back at Tilford Woods again soon.

We visited Tilford woods on impulse after seeing a great last minute deal online (£150 for 3 nights!) and have been really impressed by the lodge. We stayed in Faulkland Lodge (number 1) and although it didn't have a hot tub outside, it did have a jacuzzi bath and a sauna.

The setting is quite peaceful (minus the occasional loud child in the play park that is part of the adjacent pub) and a welcome break from the pace and noise of London.

A car is most definitely recommended as the bus service is intermittent and the nearest large supermarket is a 10 minute drive away. Also - it is terribly signposted from the main road - the turning is down the side of the pub.

Room Tip: Not all lodged have hot tubs - make sure you ask if this is important to you.

My Husband and stayed in one of the cabins with a hot tub outside and a Jacuzzi in the bath and sauna in the bath room. Perfect for a relaxing retreat! It was a log cabin with an open fire and had self catering facilities. There is a pub at the top of the road, but no other shops for a while - so bring any drinks and food etc that you will require for your stay. Its fairly price but a nice treat. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: With a hot tub outside!

Arrived late on Sunday night, no sign to say where to go, phoned emergency number and told to go to lodge 7 and they can help, knocked on lodge 7, they had no record of my booking! Checked paperwork and I should have been in lodge 7! Anyway they found me a lodge eventually and very nice it was to!
Lodge 16 overlooking the lake, very clean, nice decor and well furnished with all you would expect in self catering. Lovely large towels. Great covered decking so could dry the dog off without going into lodge until she was clean which was great idea.
Very quiet site, good walks out from site around golf course and woods. Farnham is lovely and every type of restaurant you could wish for. It has a waitrose, sainsburys, lidl and Iceland! And cafés galore! We had a Chinese takeaway from Kar ling kwong and it was delicious, good portions and free prawn crackers.
If you want peace and quiet then this is for you,

Room Tip: The site only has 32 lodges and on a very small site so don't expect total privacy but all hot t...
