We went to The Mulberry for a family meal out meal out. GROWN UP family ~ that is. This is a pub.
We received a very warm and friendly welcome and were seated at our reserved table.
We ordered our drinks and realised we couldn't hear each other speaking about the music.
A change of waiter ~ as we placed our food order ~ we ask for recommendations.
We asked to move from being seared under an overhead speaker. This wasn't a problem at all.
The food arrived fresh and very nicely presented. Hot and extremely delicious.
I could only criticise "my burger" was over cooked to the point of the edges being slightly dry.
Everything else was very scrummy indeed.
Two plates were cleared when one of us was still eating which bothered my husband and
I felt sad to leave without having someone to say "good bye" to apart from the bouncer on the door.
