We went to The Mulberry for a family meal out meal out. GROWN UP family ~ that is. This is a pub.
We received a very warm and friendly welcome and were seated at our reserved table.
We ordered our drinks and realised we couldn't hear each other speaking about the music.
A change of waiter ~ as we placed our food order ~ we ask for recommendations.
We asked to move from being seared under an overhead speaker. This wasn't a problem at all.
The food arrived fresh and very nicely presented. Hot and extremely delicious.
I could only criticise "my burger" was over cooked to the point of the edges being slightly dry.
Everything else was very scrummy indeed.
Two plates were cleared when one of us was still eating which bothered my husband and
I felt sad to leave without having someone to say "good bye" to apart from the bouncer on the door.

I had not been to the Mulberry before, but it was recommend to me by a friend as a suggestion for a venue to hold a 40th Birthday party get together for 16 people on a Saturday evening.

The Mulberry's back room, which can be booked in advance is an excellent venue for parties. The pub's back room has fantastic character with large sofa's and a long table for a sit down meal. The Burgers are truly special and the service provided by Charlie and his staff was spot on and helped to make the evening really enjoyable.

Thank you and we will be back.

Burgers are on the charge and the Mulberry is at the forefront. The burgers are fantastic - I hadnt appreciated the care and art that could go into a burger. They look beautiful and taste fantastic. Sorry for the terrible pun, but my evening at the Mulberry deserved some kind of special new word, that's how good it was. We had a party for about 18 people, all ordering food, and thanks to the helpful, cheery staff, we all managed to get our food precisely when we were told we would and piping hot as well. The gourmet burgers were great, the sweet potato fries were incredible, and the desserts were something to behold as well. Basically it was really nice, the staff were great, and we had a brilliant time.

Definitely shall be re-visiting!
