Robin and Lucy Catchpole have done a great job in restoring and renovating The Bluebell Inn.
Their chef Simon produced for us the best Sunday lunch we have ever had in a restaurant.
The friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and superb cask ales make this pub a must for anyone
who is looking for an enjoyable meal

We were looking for a typical country pub just outside Farnham. We needed somewhere for a light lunch midweek, without alcohol, but looking for something different from the usual city based chain sandwich shops. After some driving and rejecting several others we arrived at the Bluebell. The perfect answer. Great sandwiches with a side of home-made chips. Clean, homely interior with variety of seating. The outside gives little impression of what is on the inside.
Pleasant, friendly and service-oriented staff.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

We had a lovely Sunday supper here, Lucy was very helpful and accommodating. I had the Caesar Salad with chicken and my date had the goats cheese tart. Both were delicious. The real ale was well kept. We will return to explore the menu further.

This pub is run by amateurs, we visited on Saturday, when advertising they are open 11-11, they have let their fire go out, are busy cleaning lines for the ale, and have no wine list, clearly showing prices.
We had just a quick drink and left, it isn't welcoming, and there's loads of areas for improvement.
Clearly they will need to try much harder if they are to succeed.
Disappointing.

My wife and I called into this country pub a couple of weeks ago and were very pleasantly surprised. The pub is now under new ownership by a young and enthusiastic couple,Robin and Lucy. There were 4real ales on and the Landlord recommended the Moondance..Superbly kept.I also tried a TEA and again very good.
The food we had was very tasty and we had no complaints and at less than a tenner a head, not going to break the bank!
The best part though was the ambience of the pub,bar staff all very welcoming and despite the fact that the clientele were mainly locals we weren't left feeling like we were outsiders.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this pub,as one of the best I have been in this year
