1 Park Row was just what we needed for our stay in Farnham. We had a family event to attend at short notice and booked 3 rooms here. All but one room came with En-suite. Room 3 (my room) had a private bathroom next to the room. All rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Tea and Coffee making facs were in the room along with a telly with the basic channels.

Breakfast was left out downstairs, Cereal, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bread etc. Just help yourself and sit down at the dinning table.

Parking can be found on Castle Street just at the bottom of the road. You can park here from 8.00am - 4.00pm for two hours at a time. Cars can then be left overnight with no problems.

When you arrive at Park Row look out for the blue door with the 1 on it, not 1a or 1b next door! When you enter the building take a left into the dinning room then a right that will lead you up stairs. Don't be surprised if you think you have walked in to someone's house as there were coats hanging up and shoes tucked under a chair.

1 Park Row was nothing flash but it was just a place for us to sleep and it served our needs. We would stay here again.

I half agree with the previous reviewer - we too were in room 2 and it was really nice - very characterful. Beautiful exposed beams make up for the quirkiness of the door from the landing actually going into the bathroom and then there was a door about 5 ft high into the bedroom. But both the bedroom and bathroom were very big and it was clean, very comfortable bed etc. which in my book are the main considerations.

Breakfast was the bad point. When we arrived down there was only 1 table. The breakfast was a help yourself affair. The owner(?) was there but didn't really greet us. Another guest said that there wasn't enough milk left for cereal for us, so the owner begrudgingly said he'd go and get some milk but that he'd left his wallet at his house house so it would be a half hour round trip! We made do with toast .

In the end we didn't really mind as we wanted to get away quickly and just needed somewhere to stay after a wedding the night before but in other circumstances we would have been pretty annoyed.

This could be a really nice interesting place to stay but it was really let down badly by the breakfast shambles.

We stayed at 1 Park Row when attending a party in Farnham ----. My husband was concerned with my booking. We turnt up around 8.00pm and there was a note on the door indicating where the key had been left and we were left to our own devises. We let ourselves in, we were in room 2 and it was lovely and clean and well worth the £60, which included breakfast. We would stay here again the building had so much character and was right in the centre of town. Highly Recommended!!!
