I visited for lunch in July and the food was very tasty, although expensive, but the service needs improving. For such a pricey pub you need friendly service from both the staff and owners, they just seem quite stuck up. Great location and decor, so it's an easy enough fix!

The Holly Bush is a nice enough pub just outside Farnham. We have had good meals there and The Holly Bush is pleasant enough for just a bottle of wine. Nothing special, but perfectly ok. £19.00 for a bottle of house white.

We had an evening meal here whilst visiting family. The pub was very busy when we arrived hence very noisy. We had a reserved table but it was surrounded by other customers chatting loudly; some of our party have hearing difficulties so the high ambient noise levels meant conversation was difficult or not possible, later when the pub was less busy the conversation was easier.

It's one of those overcomplicated menus that doesn't use complete sentences instead offering 'big plates', or choose a 'protein' etc. so there was much faffing about explaining the options as it was not clear - we mainly had burgers to keep it simple. Drinks arrived but we ordered a half and got a pint, probably because of the noise levels when ordering. The food was fine but didn't' set itself apart - £14 for a burger and chips. The decor is shabby chic - unfinished tables, up cycled hard chairs and quite dark.

The pub is clearly appealing to young professionals who are willing to pay over the odds for average food and service in shabby surroundings.

Went here after the pond.
Very nice pub with different rooms and outdoor dining
Simple menu but very very tasty. Lamb burger was delicious. Great staff who were friendly and efficient.
Would return next time in the area

Always enjoy popping in here when visiting Frensham. A proper family run pub and focus for the local community. London standard coffee (a blessing for a city liver), great selection of food and drink and a warm welcome from David and Sally. Feels like my local even though I live 40 miles away.
