“Sweet little tea room”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

I visited recently and had the most delicious sweet potato, chilli & coconut soup with a chunk of bread! I noticed there were huge scones, cakes, pastries etc too.

I'll be returning to sample something else soon.

“Cute little place”
Reviewed 25 March 2014 via mobile

Had a delightful lunch here; lovely salad, yummy moist carrot cake and the biggest, fluffiest scones I have ever seen in Surrey! Nice friendly staff too. Is quite small though, went on a weekday can imagine it would be quite busy/popular at the weekends.

“A true one-off local tea house rather than a chain.”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Having had lovely lunches here on previous occasions we decided to try the full afternoon tea for a family birthday. If you want a 'chefy' style of afternoon tea where everything is turned into a piece of artwork then this is not the place, but if you prefer lovely, homemade style of cooking where the emphasis is on freshness and quality of baking then you'll love the Vintage Teahouse. The sandwiches were freshly prepared to order only after we had been seated and the huge scones with clotted cream and jam were delicious but had the added touch of fresh strawberries as well. There was a nice selection of cakes and the chocolate brownie was to die for. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and were happy to keep fresh tea coming of which there was a good choice. They even provided a little cupcake for the birthday candles. A big plus was that there was no need to vacate the table for a subsequent booking and it made our daughter's birthday tea very relaxed. This place is popular so I recommend pre-booking. With the current popularity for full afternoon tea it is surprising that it doesn't appear on the menu: they do it so well!

“Pretty tearoom”
Reviewed 16 February 2014 via mobile

Cake and tea were perfect.
Wrap I ordered was disappointing as main ingredient was stale.
No scones as hadn't had delivery that day which was disappointing.
Would go again good place for catch up.

“Great atmosphere, lovely food and personal service.”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

Walked past this place earlier in the week looking for a place to have some breakfast with a friend and my little one. The food was lovely, the coffee was to die for and the service was great. They could not do enough for my little girl and me. I love the originality and the fact that none of what they service is pre-packaged or prepared in advance.
For a random Thursday, this place was packed, with many of the tables already being booked out for lunch. If you do go for lunch, i suggest booking well in advance.
Enjoy this little gem in Reigate high street.
