Went last Saturday for a birthday day out with a 7 year old. I had never been to this place before and it was fantastic. The car park was nicely placed and cheep (£3 all day) But the rides were great, they catered for all age ranges from toddlers to adults alike! They had discounts available for £20 i got about 10 or so rides which each token was worth about £0.50 each. Food wise good choice and reasonably priced £1.20 for a nice coffee! Yum! But overall great place to visit with family/friends and to have fun!

Thank you for your review and great to hear you had a good day. We do like to know that the bigger kids (aka adults) enjoy it just as much as the kids. If you purchase your tickets online you can get an even better deal (50 tickets for £15 - works out at 30p each). Thanks

Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is located in a good area, just by the sea front, there is fish and chip shops, ice creams, a park opposite the Park itself. There is a wide range of rides there for all ages, it isn't expensive, there is 2 ways to pay, you can buy the all day pass which I think has been put up to £20 per person or you can buy the tokens and the prices vary to how many tokens you want. It is best to visit when the weather is hot or at least dry. If you go early year, you take the risk of some of the rides not being open.

This is a true chavy day out! Beach is great (although litter near to the pleasure park..go further along and it is clear!) and the park with lake is great for children.
Back to the pleasure park - some rides are tired, but there are more rides here for under 5s than any other fair we've been to. £10 of tokens can cover 2 visits as you get 25 and unless you're on the big rides, an infant won't use anywhere near that. Accompanying adults are usually free (cup ride, horses etc).
Staff are friendly - look past the rough, and it's not bad at all.
The food kiosks are ok - best one being up towards the trampolines and inflatable slide and little aeroplanes. They are the busiest too.
Tried the cafés and the best one (for food and cost) is the one placed at end of block with the arcades, backing onto the skate park and basketball area by beach. It's chairs and tables are painted an array of colours and they sell THE best shakes ever tasted!
Yes it's a working class haven, but subdue your inner snob for the day and you won't be too disappointed!

Visited this place on Good Friday with my grandsons. The day was very good. You need to buy tickets for the rides as the rides do not accept cash. If you join their facebook page and select like, I believe you get special offers, we got £25 worth of tickets for £15. There are a lot of various rides on the park from 'white knuckle' rides for the older and more daring customer to nice and gentle rides for young children. There are plenty of stalls which do accept cash. There are a few restaurants which obviously get very busy at times. There are also plenty of take away vans if that is what you prefer. Access for wheelchairs is quite good with plenty of room to move around, although you may find it difficult to get into a restaurant if busy. Toilets were not of the highest standard but it was very busy and a warmish bank holiday (for a change), so perhaps we can excuse them on this occasion. On the whole, a really good, enjoyable day out.

Rides are really good but on sunny days queues are massive. Sadly on the waltzers people constantly push in, even adults, and we were stuck between 2 groups of chavs. We went on the waltzers 11 times and twister 4. You can get 50 tickets for £15 so its a good enough deal except that's like going on the waltzers 5 times for 2 people. I recommend adding the tokens together using the website then buying multiple copies to take advantage of this deal. Not many baby rides but not many thrill rides as well. The rollercoaster, waltzers, twister and roulette seem to be the best attractions.
