What a fantastic place and a credit to the owner and staff.
Built in. ..... And a more modern built spa and pool area but well matched in.
The hotel was so relaxing. The food lovely and the surrounding grounds and par 3 golf a pleasure to walk around in the evening.

The spa was so clean relaxing with a pool and steam room outstanding. And the staff so welcoming and helpful.

The back and neck massage unbelievable.

Thanks and we will be returning. And a great venue for a company day out to treat your corporate day.

Thanks pat and Patsy

An interesting little venue, loved the traditional furnishings and creaky floorboards. My room was lovely and quite comfortable although the bathroom was a little tired and needed refurbishing.

Being really honest, the staff need more training - over one and a half hours to wait for bar food is just too long and only one member of staff on duty. The one and only barman couldn't have poured a drink more slowly if he tried - not great when the bar is full.

Only real criticism is the dreadful marketing material everywhere! Its a lovely venue but they keep pushing all their various activities in a very 1970's way, quite awful. Backs of toilet doors, posters everywhere and also don't like the fact they splash a 'sponsor' everywhere either, especially one that doesn't match the quality level of the hotel.

My family and I celebrated a family birthday at The Midsummer Ball on Saturday evening. It was a fabulous night, and our entire party enjoyed the wonderful party atmosphere, top quality food and entertainment. There is no where else I know of that provides the perfect setting for a special celebration. The staff especially make you feel so comfortable and do everything possible to look after you in the best possible way. It's lovely to go back time after time and see the same faces; Helen served us a wonderful full breakfast after the most comfortable nights sleep in sumptuous surroundings, crisp linen and plump pillows.
I love everything about ' Nailcote' and now looking forward to the fabulous 'Pink Ball'

We stayed overnight recently following a wonderful wedding reception. It's a lovely venue - picturesque, historic and grand, but feels quite intimate inside. Surroundings, gardens, marquee (including twinkly dance floor), wedding breakfast and pool were fantastic. Breakfast was top-notch too. The only thing that could be improved was the signage around the hotel - lots of people got a bit lost en route to the toilet, which was quite a long way from the marquee.

Room was nice - but it was a shame the windows didn't open, as it was quite a warm night.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this as a wedding venue and hotel. Really lovely.

Room Tip: Rooms 6 and 8 overlook the marquee - so best avoided if you want a nice view.

Venue excellent food terrible some of the waitress staff were rude have to say that the bar staff were excellent. The management need to teach the waitresses some customer services skills we have been to 2 of these events and will not be attending another.

I don't normally put on reviews about hotels - I make quite a few business trips and stay in various hotels around the country.
This hotel is in a beautiful setting, the room (standard) is large, airy, immaculately clean and has air con and a very comfortable large bed. Over a two night stay I found the staff and service to be exceptional - could not do enough to make my stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable.

Excellent food - even the room service menu was delicious.

I will always stay here if I need accommodation in this area.

Thank you to the staff for being so attentive and considerate - it makes such a very big difference to a business stay.

Room Tip: Some rooms I understand don't have air con - but when I asked to be allocated one with air con a...
