We went here yesterday for a long lunch. Firstly, the place itself is really beautiful - all shabby chic with gorgeous bunting and lovely soft furnishings - and eh food is fantastic with brilliant staff. We both had the homemade quiche which was perfect and had a gorgeous salad with a lovely dressing. I'm a big quiche fan and this was incredible, and perfectly filling for lunch with a pot of tea each. The staff were really lovely too - perfect balance between attentive and relaxed so we felt really comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this place to anywhere, and would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

Went on bank holiday Monday for tea and a sandwich. Nice welcome and we were offered places on the "gathering" table which was fine. Took about 10-15 mins to have our order taken and then 35 mins for 1 sandwich and 1 panini. Our tea was cold by the time it arrived. Good value at £11.50. Could see some works to modify/extend were being carried out. Will try again when finished.

Went here for the first time when we had a 241 voucher just after it opened. Very pleasantly surprised. Decor lovely, staff excellent and drinks (tea, coffee etc) above average. They have proper tea bags i.e with leaves and not that other stuff....More than happy to go there now and pay full price. Apart from two separate rooms indoors there's also a cute garden area with tables and chairs for when the weather gets better. Cannot fault the place.

Meh .. It was ok but not exceptional. Wonder how popular it would be amongst some real competition? Perhaps it's just me, but I really don't get why people would want to queue to get in. Or eat with people staring at them from the queue. Rooms are pretty and service is good. Very average food.

Have eaten there many times. Lovely place to meet with friends for brunch or for a coffee and yummy cinammon bun. Fab decor, friendly service, very impressed.
