What a great few days we’ve just spent at ‘Hidden Gem’, we asked for a character property, centrally located so we could walk easily to all local amenities taking in the village life, yet able to take a short journey into Stratford enjoying the fabulous sites. It was truly amazing, the property itself was a pleasure to stay in, warm and cosy, high standard of recent refurbishment, yet enough original character left to make you appreciate the building you are staying in.
We had an enormous choice of eating, drinking and coffee shops to choose from, to suit a Fine Dining palette, Cheal’s, to The Butchers Social for breakfast. I would strongly recommend a booking here for a relaxing break in the heart of Warwickshire.
This place has it all! It's right in the centre of the picturesque and historic town of Henley in Arden where there are lots and lots of fantastic places to eat and drink, but it's so private and tucked away that you would not even know it's there!
Hidden Gem really lives up to its name - it's absolutely gorgeous and furnished to the standard of a Five Star boutique hotel, everything is top notch. There's private parking through electric gates (which is a real bonus as Henley parking is very limited) and even a private walkway leading straight onto the High Street. Great bars, restaurants and cafes are right on the doorstep - this is a brilliant place to base yourself if you're coming to Warwickshire.
Wow! Hidden Gem Cottage really has got the best of both worlds - a central Henley in Arden location that's just a hop, skip and a jump away from an amazing selection of pubs, shops and restaurants, yet so peaceful and private. If you enjoy opulent surroundings and a place with a really luxurious feel, then this is most definitely for you as it's been interior designed and finished to a very high standard. The historic town of Henley in Arden is a great place to visit if you appreciate the finer things in life (food & drink wise!) and has some really great shops too. This is a really convenient place to be based if you want to visit all the local tourist attractions like Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and the Cotswolds and you can also hop on the bus or train to reach Birmingham in about 20 minutes - what's not to like?!
