“Quiet, comfortable Cotswald lodging”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

Owners Bruce and Pam went out of their way to make our two night stay very enjoyable. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Suite on the second level overlooking the rear garden. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices were outstanding.
Very near is the Howard Arms, an excellent restaurant that gives a discount to Folly Farms folks.

This fantastic B&B is in a quaint, alluring and tranquil location, with a great view of the surrounding area.
Great cosy pubs are within short walking distance or if you fancy a drive through the country roads, a few more pubs provide for a lovely dinner experience or quiet evening drink. If you are a keen walker, there are some great local walks with breathtaking views of the Cotswold's hills! Maps to follow all suggestions for activities are provided in a very helpful folder found in the room. We found the information in it very useful and relied on it for a lot of our stay!
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Rose Suite, which was very clean, a good size, tastefully decorated with a four poster bed, TV and an on-suite, with a relaxing whirlpool bath. Homemade shortbread greeted us on arrival which was an unexpected and lovely detail!
The cooked breakfast was made from local produce and tasted absolutely delicious! I fully recommend the Folly Challenge breakfast that will keep your appetite at bay until late afternoon!
Pam and Bruce were very welcoming and great hosts throughout our stay, with lots of helpful, friendly advice and knowledge of the local and surrounding areas.
Off road parking and free WiFi was also available.
Overall, Rachel and I had a very enjoyable, relaxing and fulfilled stay!! We will definitely return to this B&B, should we visit this part of the Cotswold's again, and would highly recommend this place to stay.

In total agreement with all the very positive comments that have been made already many times, so no need to repeat them again. Our stay in The Rose Suite was perfection, if internet access is really important to you the free wifi doesn't quite hit this room, but is easily accessed from the breakfast room, my suggestion though would be to switch off any technology and enjoy the extremely beautiful surroundings, which the cottage is perfectly placed for you to do either by foot or by car.

The reason this place works is because its genuinely nice owners love where they live and what they do. You will find an extremely clean environment, with very considerate little touches which are provided by people that run their business in the most professional manner.

You might find as good, but I doubt you'll find better!

We stayed at Folly Farm Cottage for a few days cycling. The accommodation was very comfortable and well kept and Bruce and Pam are the perfect hosts. Even better the B&B is within easy walking distance of two good pubs. The Howard Arms is quite upmarket and elegant inside but with very good food. The Red Lion is an unpretentious local with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and also has very good food and is quite a bit cheaper.

The B&B is particularly well situated for cycling being on three good cycle routes. One takes you right through Stratford-on-Avon and out the other side to a very interesting ride along the canal and locks. It manages to get right through the town on dedicated cycle tracks plus a few quiet roads.

Highly recommended and thanks again Bruce and Pam
