We stayed on a two night deal with Dinner, bed and breakfast incl. When we arrived they advised us to book our evening meal. We went to Jenny's and found it was a carvery. We booked for 6.45 but did not get taken then as we were told someone had to leave first. We sat outside but was called when a table became vacant. About 20 mins. later. We had the soup, which was hot, but we were very disappointed in the carvery. We had the baked ham, which tasted nice, but was not hot, and the veg choice was carrots, peas and cauliflower. THe veg was stone cold!!! There was a salad bar, and had we known about the veg we would have had the ham with salad. I had the soup, two rolls and a slice of ham. No pudding as it was all spongy things, which I hate. The next night we decided to go to Cromptons and pay a surcharge, which is the French restaurant within the hotel, and we had a lovely meal there and excellent service. It was very busy as it was the weekend, too busy for us. Could not cope with buffet breakfast (bun fight) so had room service and continental breakfast. The breakfast did not arrive the first morning and we had to ring up about it. The room was lovely but bathroom VERY small. The hall itself was a magnificent building and some lovely rooms in it. We had a pleasant stay, everyone was friendly, but the service was not brilliant.

Good food in good clean surroundings. Pleasant staff particularly in the dining and bar area. Clean comfortable room with fully functional T V and telephone. Bathroom was well equip with an efficient shower and 2 wash basins and bath/toilet. The leisure centre was easy to access and well equipped. The grounds were spectacular and well maintained.

Had a 4 day stay, booked through UK Breakaways. Nice room with comfortable beds, and 2 easy chairs, usual bathroom facilities and the best hotel shower I have had. (in bath type).
Food very good and plentiful, buffet style, which we prefer. 99p bar from 6 till 9 included in the deal.
Very impressive grounds and a country park opposite. Short walk into Market Bosworth, with nice local shops and a market. Also near to a canal for walking and watching the narrowboats cruising by.

Just had 4 nights stay.
Room (standard) was spacious, clean, tidy and satisfactorily furnished.
Bathroom was adequate, clean and fully functioning - however it was very small.
The building and grounds are very impressive.
The breakfast (taken at 8 am) was hot and very satisfactory.
The evening meal (taken at 6.30 pm) was hot and of a satisfactory standard.
My room was quiet and warm without heating - although quite a walk from reception.
A very expensive mattress and comfortable bed.
There was plenty of seating in the public areas - although the hotel was quiet on my visit.
The staff were friendly and respectful.
A very enjoyable visit - have no problems in recommending to friends etc..

Room Tip: We had a double standard none smoking room.

We booked a deal from kgb and were not really expecting great things, but we couldn't have been more surprised. We booked for two nights, B&B with dinner and a bottle of wine per couple included for the first night. At the time of booking we were asked if we wished to book dinner for the second night at half the price of what it would be if we had booked separately. Wine was also included. On arrival we were upgraded for no particular reason that we knew of. Our rooms were typical of any hotel, but large and airy with a large bathroom and full sized bath. The hotel itself was lovely, with many lounge areas with large comfy sofas and chairs. It was buffet dining for breakfast and dinner, which was great. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and warm. The hotel has acres of pathways to walk around on a nice day. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. I have only one criticism, the cocktails are expensive and not up to much. We would absolutely definitely stay here again. Our 2 night deal cost us £125 in all including second nights dinner.

Room Tip: We had room 207 which had a lovely sun lounge area to relax in which in the week is very quiet and h...

We stayed at the Bosworth Hall Hotel for a weekend 'getaway' with friends. We had stayed in this hotel before & on that occasion was very pleased - hence the return. This time we shan't be returning.

I must point out that the staff were all very friendly & very helpful at all times. What does let the hotel down is the standard of the accommodation.

We stayed in a standard room. The room looked shabby & in desperate need of redecoration. The papered ceiling was starting to peel and the bathroom needed re-grouting and re-painting. The chairs had white marks on from being damp and the TV was very old and had very poor reception. Most channels were very fuzzy at best.

The tea & coffee making facilities were poor. They had obviously updated the kettle to a cordless version, but the only place you could plug the kettle in was on the floor near the wardrobe, as this is where the only electric sockets in the room were - meaning we often had the dangerous task of trying not to trip over the kettle as we were getting ready.
Switching the bedside lamps on/off was tricky too as the switches were placed behind units.

We upgraded to the 'fine dining' but although the service was excellent, the food was not hot & the portion sizes were scrimpy. The menu was a little deceiving too. A starter of "Prawns in a spicy sauce" was just a prawn cocktail on a plate.
The buffet breakfast was excellent however.

Room Tip: It's the luck of the drawer. This time we got there early & the room was poor. Last time we...

We visited Bosworth Hall on a Groupon deal, but I should have known ‘you get what you pay for’.
Upon arrival it took us 15 minutes to find a parking space, as the hotel was very busy. Check-in was undertaken by a surly trainee receptionist and when we asked if we could book for dinner, she informed us we had to go the restaurant to do this. We went straight to the restaurant to be told they had no reservations before 9.30pm (this was at 5pm). The bar was cluttered and messy, no one was cleaning tables, the hotel had obviously oversubscribed on this deal to make a quick buck and the staff couldn’t handle it.
Dinner was not good. The restaurant or should I say carvery would normally close at 9pm, but they had to extend to accommodate oversubscription. The food was sparse, poor and cold; the staff were fed up, so all in all not a good experience.
The room was very poor, bathroom was so bad that we couldn’t face having a shower. Bath panel smashed, basin cracked, mould on ceiling. Not sure if all rooms are like this, or just the Groupon deals.
Slept OK and breakfast was mediocre (self service).
I do Groupon all the time, but I have to say this is one of the roughest, poorest places I have ever stayed. Don’t be fooled by a cheap deal, they don’t exist.
