We live local and had tried the takeaway service which was good. So we decided for a celebration we would eat in the restaurant with friends. On arrival we were shown to our table by a really miserable looking man who didn't welcome or in fact even speak to us only to ask for drinks order. When everyone had arrived,this was followed by a waitress with a very rude habit of saying ay after we placed an order as she didn't understand what we were asking. The guys decided on a set meal for 3 which they politely asked if it was possible to change a meal. They were shot down with a stern no! The night continued and we couldn't fault the food. But no customer service at all, in fact they looked so unhappy, you felt uncomfortable.At the end of our meal we asked for the bill. Half an hour later the bill was thrown on to the table as the lady was passing, she just shouted short and stern, bill. We found the staff to be very rude and unhappy. I suggest a customer service course wouldn't go a miss. Such a shame as I said the food was excellent.
