“BEDROOMS TOO HOT TO SLEEP IN!!!!”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

We arrived on the 19th July for 2 nights stay - and I can say thankfully it was only 2 nights! In the heatwave weather had - there was no Air Con in the rooms which made it very difficult to sleep and get ready for a wedding. I couldn't do my makeup properly because I was sweating too much. I had asked the Receptionist for a fan - only to come back into my room and find out it was a small fan which hardly made any difference at all. I will never be staying here again neither will I recommend to anyone else wishing to stay in the area.

Room as usual..reasonable size, clean, very comfy bed.
Very hot weather means would like to have window open all the time....but very noisy air conditioning unit on next building means this isn't possible at night! Noise drives me mad and have to close window which means it is hot and uncomfortable.
Pu/restaurant next door is fine and handy.
Would come back but not to a room at back facing onto the building which seems to be some kind of butchery business

Room Tip: Keep away from the back where butchery business air conditioning drives you mad at night!

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback on your recent stay with us.
I was glad to read that you found our rooms and cleanliness to be very good. I was however disappointed to read about your issues regarding the air conditioning unit on the adjacent building. It really matters to us that our guests enjoy every aspect of their stay and I'm very sorry that on this occasion, we didn't meet your expectations.
Please be assured that your comments have been noted and will be duly followed up by the Management team.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family on holiday and it was the first time we stayed in Premier Inn. The room and bed was very comfortable and clean and staff was very friendly. Highly recommended to anyone travelling in UK.

Was welcomed through really nicely with friendly staff! Dipali who was in for the afternoon till 11pm was really helpful for my stay she did everything she could to do for my stay there for a few days considering she was the only one managing the whole hotel by herself! She had to transfer me in a different room because of the bad signal for the phones! Restaurant team were really good was served by guy called Will! He was very friendly!
Overall great experience and had a lovely stay!

Room Tip: Make sure when you book to ring up and ask for a room you would like

Stayed here for a week, nice friendly staff Sarah very helpful, car park gets busy due to the pub and lots of contractors staying here, food menu was good got a bit bored of it after third night went to shops around the corner, bar staff friendly good choice of beers, only one problem serves breakfast at 630 but had no takeaway cups "was told sorry run out and no longer doing the take away cups" so much for breakfast on the go.

not the easiest place to find when you`ve been given the wrong postcode. but we got there eventually. in a mini downpour.big car park. check in was quick. lift to top floor then along a very long and winding corridor. room overlooked the carpark and adjacent dual carriage way. room very warm with window shut, no air-con. slept with window open and luckily the traffic died down and we had a good nights sleep. shower wasn`t as good as previous premier inns we have stayed in. breakfast in attached brewers fayre was ok. we did use the 30 mins free wi-fi. there weren`t a lot of sockets to charge all the modern gizmo`s.
not a bad stay really, would stay again.

Room Tip: try for a room that doesn`t overlook road. ask for a free standing fan.
