“Excellent food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Only been here once but will definitely be returning soon. Food has plenty of flavour and is very well presented, staff are very polite and friendly and the owner makes the effort to speak to everyone and make them feel welcome. Sangria is good. There is plenty of parking available within a couple of minutes walk.

“Great New Restaurant/venue for Rugby”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

What the Spanish are trying to achieve with a fantastic host achieving fine food with a relaxed Spanish atmosphere. (shame we haven't got the weather as we'll). I didn't really know what to order so asked the owner and she said most people choose 3/4 dishes each. So we ordered 6 dishes between two of us and this was just about right. Each dish costs about £2.95 to £6.95 and the food really is divine. Topped with a good atmosphere on a busy night and some Sangria :-). After talking about the new restaurant with the owner she said a new event room for up to 80 people would be available soon, could help with my daughters 18th. Definitely would recommend the restaurant with typical Spanish wood and tile floors and walls.

“Average. Don't go if you're hungry .”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Food: fine , nice flavour on some dishes, but unless you get the paella you need around 4/5 dishes to feel full ( and I'm a slim person ) this will total £20/25 before you have even ordered a drink . Unless you go for very basic dishes (olives, breaded bits ect ) also do not order the steak!!!! £5.95 for literally 6/7 veg peeler style SHAVINGS arranged on your plate with a squiggle of chilli . Nothing like the picture .
Tapas seems like a great idea at the start of the night untill you leave the place realising that with the £20/25 price tag you spend on various tidbit dishes here you could go and get a nice fillet steak elsewhere in town.

Also nothing more irritating than the waitresses bringing the food to the table and with every dish explaining she has no idea what it is and telling the table to try it and pass it along ?! Don't worry love those 3 mushrooms on a plate cost someone on the table £4/5 sure they don't mind the waitress offering them out to be eaten by others ?!
